  2. Can't say for sure as I've got solids (v harsh) the poly I believe you retain the outer race of the stock bearing. There is a write up somewhere I'm sure.
  3. One thing I wish I'd done with mine is cavity wax the frame. Have you decided what your doing about the diff and sub frame bushes?
  4. Cool, looks like a few interested parties. Let's start looking at date/location options. Then we can make enquiries and make a list. I'm happy to take lead with the organisation, bear with me though for obvious reasons. Be really good to get a few members out to stretch our legs a bit rather than another static show. We have plenty of those.
  5. Always good to have the expert on board.
  6. I'm just tight in general Pete
  7. I did intend to do Japfest' track time option. However last year the ticket sales were very quick and we don't appear to have much interest in the event this year.
  8. When it's worth selling to buy something significantly better
  9. No vom yet, the poo is more like bovril at this stage.
  10. nope the zed stays, I brought a nice new reliable Skoda with all the crap like ISO fixes about a year or so ago for that very reason.
  11. Well the little gay washers turned up yesterday and my purple air filter today. In other arrivals, a long awaited thing happened. I've had a total of 4 hours of broken sleep over the last 60 hours, an ambulance ride as our local hospital didn't have the facilities, me the wife who is about 8 stone with a few bricks in her pocket and daughter number one arrived at a whole 8.10lb. Hence the erherm, extra medicinal attention All home safely at 3am this morning. Tired. No parts being fitted this week
  12. Take it in your Z, the examiner will be distracted and you will pass. Worked for my mate in a stripped out caged mini.
  13. I meant time wise rather than mirror signal manovre issues
  14. Some very varied prices at brands aren't there. There's a new one available in Exeter but it looks like they are only doing experience days at present. Castle Combe often available but quite expensive. - - - Updated - - - Driving liecence issues?
  15. Anyone up for a track day? April time probably. Probably a morning or afternoon only to reduce costs. Open to suggestions, I was looking at a session at Abingdon Airfield just off the A34. Thruxton would be ideal for me but they don't do many car track days.
  16. Cool. Be good to see it out and about. Come march I'll arrange a local meet. Get a few of us together.
  17. Because he lives in the land of ice cubes and ironbru and doesn't need it? It's incredible how much space is created in the bay binning it.
  18. There's a few about round here. What does yours look like?
  19. What product for rust removal do you use Andy?
  20. Clean that up right you lazy sod
  21. I've seen it before, I believe the owner used to live in Winton. Never met the owner though. There's a black one about a fair bit recently which lives in Moordown.
  22. This is as I suspected. Why does that (twit or not) members base miss us out. Why does that trade remain away from here.
  23. I don't use FB, does anyone feel that detracts or damages the club?
  24. Lots of over priced rusty suspension arms etc on eBay. That's about it. Used to be gems about if you were prepared to hunt.
  25. Maybe it's time the club relaxed its sales rules to encourage freer trade and encourage more parts to be available.
