  1. Oh yeah the journal function. Bit odd them, usually can't post on then.
  2. We don't have an actual build thread section so we? Wish I'd started one years back, there would be so much in it.
  3. Crazy isn't it, there's a weird patch on the A31 just after the M27 where a car fire melted the asphalt and it had to be patched. The hard shoulder is still melted.
  4. My point was FB isn't even as good as warranting using it for that. - - - Updated - - - Your just wishing I had called it Meridian:lol:
  5. They closed the main road into the county(closest thing to a motorway we've got) last summer for 9 hours because some grockle crashed a caravan in a one vechile incident for wait for it...9 hours.
  6. It was slightly, slightly, tounge in cheek. Thing is Ali, I've had it, twice. Well technically once and still because actually deleting FB is extremely tricky. It's merely inactive and has been for about 8 years. In fact I'm sure I've got inactive Bebo, MySpace and some other shite that we were all signing up for when it was all new. I left it twice because it does my head in and genuinely don't miss the head aches it brings. I regularly advise my wife to delete it to when she's getting fed up of crap people post.
  7. No FB is the one where they lie about how good thier life is, spy on people and slag off people for stuff that's of no consequence to them. Spread propaganda and fake news, particularly about politics or veganism. It's essentially a more interactive version of ITV. I believe people also like to post what they have eaten which is why Simon was banned on here for a good while
  8. I do take your point and certainly in the design phase it's to be expected but not post production. They should be making 110% sure that the materials being used are up to the job. A lot of it has been sound deadening and stuff that's not as heat resistant as they expected, questions such as did you not test this? Are very fair to ask. - - - Updated - - - Tbf every Vauxhall I've had has fallen apart as it goes along.
  9. Strange really that the likes of Ferrari, Mclearn and Lambo can't seem to master what Ford, BMW even Kia can. Engine bays that don't burst into flames. Hilarious really, "oh it's the insulation" did you not do extensive testing before using the product on a car that costs more than a house. Bit of a trend this.
  10. Try operation with the engine on and off, if there is no difference between the two for clutch feel then you likely have an issue with the booster. It may be faulty or simply disconnected.
  11. Am I making this up or did certain later cars have improved lower front arms that had lattice work on the underside?
  12. Except when you've had the battery off 800 times the wear down and aren't quite snug anymore, mind did the same.
  13. Cheers Joel. Yeah the Builthamber comes with it.
  14. At this rate your right
  15. This morning I was up and in London for breakfast time so I arrived back to a very sunny afternoon and took the opportunity to use the Builthamber stuff. At £20 a can (tax and post accounted for) it's not cheap. However I had a few questions about the product and I have to say the response from Mr Hamber himself was prompt and informative. I was impressed with the swift delivery and the fact it comes with an accompanying sheet all about the product. So onto the product, a 750ml can was enough to do both front rails, rad support member and front subframe, so I recon to do all your cavities you'd need about 6 cans, they do do a liquid for compression application. Looking down the rails it spread well and dribbled out here and there so I think it's safe to say cover and penetration. Highly recommend and il be using more for all the remaining cavities. Anyone got drawing that shows them?
  16. How many people still have HICAS and how many have fully functioning HICAS are two different things.
  17. Si is right, if you get a second hand one you know what will happen and OEM ones are pretty darn expensive. One piece is the way to go.
  18. Plus custom intercooler piping, cooler and map to suit. And you would be lucky to break 300hp I bet. Meanwhile the stock TT is that there on the shelf to make 350+hp for a mbc and a chip, more or less. Fun experiment but not cheap.
  19. I guarantee it will. However if the TT has some parts on it and he breaks it and makes one car it could soften the blow, big project though if you don't have the experience.
  20. Been a bit of a hot topic in local news about Pony deaths, people hit them and they are bloody expensive to deal with afterwards so they tend to flee, bit short on CCTV round here. As we hold quite a big show (Simply Japanese) in the forest I thought it may pay to show why every year I warn you all about driving carefully through the forest. Today alone a few miles up the road from my house (not in the forest) I had to come to hault because about 30 riders and 50 hounds took over the public highway on a early season hunt. Perfectly polite but if you came round the corner to that lot in the middle of the road we'll, you can guess. Then there was a Fallow Deer carcass on top a 7 foot high hedge row, guessing it was hit by a lorry. Countryside A roads are full of dangerous factors. So to get back to the point directly Then this popped up in the local news, the video isn't for those of a delicate position; http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/15093177.New_Forest_pony_dies_after_running_into_side_of_car__warning__contains_distressing_footage_/#comments-anchor Just a word of warning to those, particularly those who don't spend time outside of cities of the dangers you may find. Sorry to be all grown up and boring but please do be careful.
  21. I've seen that video, it's messed up.
  22. "Hanger 18"? May she "Rust in Peace" :devil2:
