  1. Buy it and sell it for 2
  2. There may be one or two members here that can help, not wanting to throw people's names in the hat though. Zclub.net would be a damn good place to start.
  3. The connection should be on the firewall next to the O2 sensor and idle plugs. Big chunky square thing. I believe it's a white wire, there's a quirk to it though iirc, like to the plug is one cable and after is two. It's a perculiar sheathed cable that uses the sheath as a neutral.
  4. My next project
  5. The front tray acts to drive air in the right place, air is fickle and will compress and redirect if not directed properly. The rear portion as Joel points out probably has purpose here too to create pressure difference, esp in idle conditions. However the fan cowel I suspect will have greater duty here. I would say it's main purpose is to protect the ancillaries items and thier belts as well as the engine from grime and debris. The alternator is in a particularly vulnerable location for water damage etc. Imagine how inconvenient it would be if a bit of flint flicked up, caught in the crank pulley and sheared a belt, you could quickly find yourself stranded, then you could die or worse.
  6. The issue can be caused by the sensor or the loom. The code is for Det sensor circuit rather than sensor specifically. This could be a break in Sub harness for the sensor, the plug or further back. My problem was on the Engine harness side of the loom an inch behind the plug.
  7. Indeed, just about 6 weeks now till the Corse Season ends, always get a bit of sun then just to stick the knife in. February tomorrow though, spring is coming. Thank Christ for that, hate January.
  8. It's that bad it makes me want to sell mine just so I'm not affiliated with that THING in any way.
  9. here's hoping. If i could teach them to catapult bait and fetch spanners that would be ideal. http://gilflyfishing.com/alaskan-silvers-mean-gold/09/24/2012/img_4386/
  10. Number one project is settling down and we're getting some sleep, I've managed over the last few days to get bits for here and there but sadly now have a cold. My candles been well and truly burnt. The car however is together up front; Still got to sort the under tray and intercooler ducting, which I'm unsure on the take I'm going to employ still. Got these to sort out too, bit manky;
  11. Did you say that chin spoiler is coming off?
  12. I swear no car has had so many false stories and starts. Was it not completely shelved at one stage for that ugly IDX thing they then canned. Just stop mucking about and make it. You can guarantee one thing though, it will be another Renault coupe, a diluted, watered down wanna be GTR. It's not that I don't like the Z33/34, I do but they aren't a natural progression from the Z32.
  13. He's only just put out the fire Pete, I suspect she's the queen of sheeba at present. wouldn't dare call her an old girl.
  14. Maybe a cracked oil ring. Is it actually using oil? Is it not worth having Jim look at it and officially writing it off before you get too excited. If it's got good compression that's a good thing, potentially.
  15. That's a shit. Have you done compression/leak down?
  16. Just had confirmation of my response and we are all systems go.
  17. Have you splashed out for a night at the C*****n G**n?
  18. Every time you dispair with Trump, cast your mind back to that photo of Bush with the binoculars backwards. Or his address of the United States of England land or whatever he called us.
  19. A sign of good things in my opinion. "The special relationship" took a beating during Obamas administration.
  20. Should that read "I can't believe how expensive zcentre are." Jokes aside the exchange rate is pretty poor at present, it's been crap against the dollar for ages. Remember before the crash, when it was like $2 to the £. Haven't caught the full story today but it looks like T and the Don have sorted a few things out trade wise so hopefully the tax will drop if nothing else.
  21. It's a national event bud so of corse your welcome. If you want to wipe off the coal dust before you cross the M4 though that would be great. I would assume your planning on a stop over down here, there's plenty of hotels etc being in a national park.
  22. I was looking at my bumper the other day (it's in the spare room) and thought, I wonder what those are... be useful for my splitter. Well il be damned that's pretty much exactly what they are for.
  23. I'm pleased to announce I received an email this morning from the organisers of Simply Japanese at Beauleiu National Motor Musuem, it confirmed that they beginning to request attendance from the clubs. 24. If you have the early NA ones, Ferret out some R32 GTR calipers and discs. Pretty common, easy to get it's for and a slight upgrade over the TT stoppers. If you do go TT I've got some drilled and grooved discs that are no use to me now. Some surface rust but £10+ post and you can have them.
