  1. how could anyone forget the inventor of the driveby blinging :p
  2. an FC is hardly competition. And greg do you have some denial issues or WHAT!?
  3. RX7 is a lightweight sportscar, it will beat a 300zx all over the place.
  4. This will hardly work, where do you think the supermarkets get their fuel from? I've never bought fuel from a BP garage, their prices are extortionate and have been for a long time, usually 2p/l more than anywhere else. Esso is just down the road though, even if shell are a penny cheaper i'm still out of pocket by driving 8 times as far to get it, in fact I worked out that just to break even in this i'd need to buy at least £115 of fuel at a time from them, difficult when the tank takes 40 :p I'll stick to esso I think, sod inconveniencing myself.
  5. too right, I think there should be enforced size limits on signatures, most of the ones here are ridiculously large. Another forum I frequent has a policy like this, either 400x75 image (no more than 20kB) and 1 line of text in small font, or 4 lines of text in normal font but no wider than 400 pixels worth. The look of the place is a LOT neater, easier to read, less scrolling, less loading time and a more professional look. What I don't agree with is having stupid policies to ban loyal members.
  6. from what i've heard, a lot of the time the only work they actually carry out is the printing of the bill :/
  7. Well bigger wheels are almost certainly heavier, and with the weight further from the hub. This will increase its resistance in changes to rotational speed i.e. it will have an effect on the acceleration and deceleration. However the 300 has a nice powerful engine so you will notice little difference.
  8. amen to that, good to watch some genuine skill rather than a bunch of muppets running around a field for 90 minutes failing to do a simple task.
  9. really nice, the black roof and mirrors really work well. Not too sure on the wheels, but the size and stance is perfect. Seamless fitting of skirts looks great, I really dislike the 'stuck on plastic' look of most skirts, especially when there is a big lip where it meets the front wing. Smooth is the way to go, de-swaged look is working well on this car too. I don't see the problem with the arches at all though. Front arch doesn't follow the line of the rim perfectly because it is lowered a lot but it looks fine to me, better than having too much gap. The wide arches in the rear look to be the best fitting that I have seen. A lot of them seem to be fitted incorectly, as if the arch is too high up and it leaves a big gap above the tyre which is unsightly, this is spot on. Standard of this car is very high, could do with better wheels though.
  10. mmmmmmmmm Stelvio. Please Santa, can I have a 430 Scuderia and a trip to Stelvio for christmas!
  11. 330i I bet. Not too up on the pre-facelift ones, is it a sport, looks low down?
  12. hey, a pretty lady.. car = :(
  13. dont really need the lines on the belt imo, just line up the pulleys, turn it over a couple of times and if they still line up then it's good to go.
  14. whats wrong with it from behind? Looks pretty awesome all round from here, allthough I'm not entirely sure if a T51-R has enough puff for 700hp, where is kirbz when you need him :p
  15. keeps crashing my browser, damn thing.
  16. I suppose so, but everything you could even want to know about a zed has been posted on here before and you don't need to pay to use the search, or indeed to post a technical question, there is little incentive to cough up unless to buy and sell things.
  17. my zed sits quietly in the garage gathering dust, I have little interest in it and no need for advice, and can't be bothered with club events any more and rarely look on here these days. Hence I don't bother, also I quite strongly disagree with some of the bureaucracy on here which led to a number of long standing members and friends of mine getting banned for life.
  18. zymol shampoo is great, most expensive of them all but it's all i'll use on the 300, ordinary car shampoo I use autoglym, it's good and you can usually get it cheap, does seem to leave a lot of water marks though if you don't dry thoroughly after rinsing.
  19. A regular geographical landline number works well for me. For a starters, when dialling an 0800/0845 number I automatically make the assumption that I will end up talking to someone at a call centre who doesn't know much about what they are doing. Secondly as you pointed out, calls to 08 numbers get charged off my mobile and not out of the call allowance either, this is of minor annoyance to me because I like to use my mobile for all calls. So yeah if you had one of these numbers I wouldn't be any more or less likely to ring it than any other number.
  20. he posted those pics himself on our very own pictures forum.
  21. all the pre-fight confrontations i'm seeing on the news amuse me greatly, almost certainly more entertaining than the fight will be. Still, I hope that mayweather cock gets his ass kicked nonetheless.
  22. I hate people who look at me funny just because I am willing to wait for a pump on the correct side. I don't care if there is a queue, if you want to drag that big dirtyarse hose accross your paintwork then go ahead, but you'll never catch me neglecting my car like that.
  23. UKDM tyte y0 :D
