  1. Sorry to rain on your parade but this is mostly nonsense.
  2. I just so happen to have a photo of said sensor. Here it is..
  3. lol good luck with that, I can't sell mine for half that. I'm starting to think I couldn't even give it away.
  4. nah don't like them, neither do I like Kahns, they are very 1990's and they weren't good then either.
  5. you could easily overheat the engine like that, hardly any airflow to the radiator and such..
  6. Mine was like that too, just removed it, you don't want all that shit going up the intake tracts.
  7. They will pay out for a 3rd party, it's a requirement of the road traffic act. However, the insurer might sue you for the costs if they find out your details are dodgy.
  8. I have 3 knackered studs, 2 on the front and 1 rear. Need these fixed asap for the MOT so I guess it's a trip to the Nissan dealer for them. I have an import though, so how accommodating will they be? I know other Japanese manufacturers whose dealers will as good as throw you out onto the street at the first mention of import. So, I'm hoping if I can just give them the part number I want and bypass the whole VIN number ordeal. I'm hoping that somebody here can tell me the part numbers that I need.. please :)
  9. I'll agree that it is f'kin drivel, but at least sometimes they have some great eye candy on there. That Emilia from last time it was on was seriously hot. Here is the proof... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfSn6kmKD88
  10. looks fishy to me, seems credible until he mentions the km clocks, wtf..
  11. S2000 for me, love them. However they are still a bit of a gas guzzler, you won't see 30mpg in one.
  12. lucky outcome. I'd have raced the ****er though, and probably ended in jail or something :p
  13. Best with Genuine Nissan belt, Mitsiboshi ones can slip :p Water pump is a good anchor too, might break it though so best not to use it unless you're changing it.
  14. Thanks guys :)
  15. indeed, don't come on here much any more though evidently. Just sorting out the zed for an MOT then it will be for sale :(
  16. interesting thread, I stripped one of the nuts while trying to swap out my back boxes today
  17. yep its true about the AC, it is surprisingly responsive too. My compressor is knackered and makes a right whining noise so yeah I can tell you that as soon as you use the throttle with any kind of enthusiasm it cuts out immediately, and cuts back in again immediately when you back off. Also the power mode is not triggered solely by the pedal position, rather the speed in which you press it down. For example you could gently squeeze it wide open and it might not trigger it, whereas you could quickly jab it down to half way and it will. Just stick it in power mode all the time though tbh lol it makes it more interesting :p
  18. err maybe fairy liquid strips the wax off, but car shampoo is specifically formulated not to. You can't 'take off' polish anyway. Look up what polish does and what wax is for.
  19. buy mine 3k to you ;)
  20. Sp1 for vista solves the dodgy copy/move problems.
  21. has to be Beeney and her epic boobs, Sabine is an annoying motor mouth just like Butler-Henderson.
  22. top one is a WRX, that one is an STi. Both look awful though.
  23. actually, the JUN car had 'only' 1000ps
  24. don't see whats so bad about it. Looks just like stock . Colour is a bit garish and the exhausts are OTT though.
