  1. http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi you will find everything you need in the AT section
  2. To check your ignition timing is right you'll need to use a timing strobe to check that your actual timing matches with what the conzult is saying. If it doesn't then you'll have to adjust the CAS until it does. As for the valve timing, you'll need to take off the upper belt covers, set the crank pulley to 0deg and check that the cam pulleys timing marks line up with the marks on the back plate. If they are all 180deg out then turn the crank another full rotation and you should be there.
  3. It is not legal, so long as the car has any of its tyres on the road then it needs tax, only exception being driven to a pre-booked MOT and back home.
  4. I like that, looks pretty neat. What better car to arrive at the Ski resort in than your brand new Zed back in '89 with your fancy Ski's mounted on, I'd feel pretty smug. (FWIW, Ski'ing is a pretty big thing in Japan, mountainous country with a lot of snowfall, there are tonnes of Ski resorts) I also thought they were standard, but if they were then why would they be in a Japanese accessories brochure?
  5. Linglong tyres on a twinturbo 300, are you for real?
  6. who painted the windscreen and gutter trim all white? God it looks bad.
  7. I had a couple for mine from Zedworld, very reasonable no f*ckin about whereas the local Nissan dealer were not helpful at all.
  8. and of course.. girl (pesky no edit capability :p)
  9. Ha, loaded this site by accident and saw this. Thanks guys :)
  10. You should know better ;) That blue one is an S13 not a Z32.
  11. A drive around the block once a week isn't doing it any favours tbh anyway. All it will do is cause condensation buildup in the oil as well as bore wash from running with cold start enrichment all the time. I used to run the engine regularly thinking it was a good thing. That is until my mechanic showed me the results of it. When the oil was drained it had a watery consistency and a strong smell of petrol. I wouldn't want to leave a car sitting outside though either, it will become a hotbed for corrosion causing the body to rot and the brakes to bind. Anyway, good to hear it's being put back on the road :)
  12. Shouldn't be failing emissions anyway, fix the problem rather than bodging to pass the test is my opinion.
  13. Cavalier I reckon, but not the one KIM posted, the one before they changed to Vectra. It could even be a Vectra.
  14. hotmail works just fine in FF..? In fact one of the nice features of the latest live messenger is it will open hotmail in FF if it is your default browser rather than only IE. As for the original question yeah I use FF, only because of the add-ons though. Page loads and general responsiveness is much faster in IE for sure, look and feel of it is much nicer than the rather dated looking Firefox (3rd party skins are all a load of crap too IMO).
  15. Surprised tbh, Z seemed to be fending off the S2 easily, must have been well set up. Honda drivers episode of red mist was almost too funny, harder he pushed the slower he went :D
  16. Is it just me or is the front end a different colour?
  17. Wow, not been on here in a long time, what a treat this is! Sounds incredible, I'll have to come and see it in person some time.
  18. I'd love to see this, unfortunately I don't know what the 'other forum' is. What pathetic reason is there for not allowing links?
  19. http://www.newspress.co.uk/DAILY_LINKS/arc_sep_2008/010908-a-pd.jpg awesome :D
  20. Sounds pretty positive, maybe next year i'll make the effort, was good back in the day at Billing.
