  2. Yeh, but I wonder how many non-white applicants they would sucessfully let in..... Im sorry we have had to decline your application because your : a. Too Fat b. Too Old c. Female
  3. Im not familiar with the ARC Intercoolers, in terms of size, but yes its quite typical to modifiy the stock ducts to ensure airflow is channeled over the entire intercooler surface. Some Aftermarket intercoolers have aftermarket ducts also available. The series 2 onwards Z's have vents cut into the underside of the Undertray, that allow the exit of airflow from the intercoolers. Some have also modified the Archliners with vents...however your fighting against higher air pressure in this area and its likely airflow would not be able to escape through these vents at speed.
  4. I have none of those phone problems with the iphone 3gs at all.
  5. Nitron's ...Very nice. I believe john Dixon dealt with Nitron for the manufacture of them for our cars fitment. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=81101

  7. I thought you were fiting an NA pump as well ? TT and NA use different diamter pipes from pot to pump.
  8. All TT Clutches are Power assisted (by vacumn). The NA is not. Probably a replacement clutch booster you have there, although at that price it would be non-oem.
  9. Being sold by Blue-Bullet (on the other Z site)
  10. The 350z 6speed has a bad reputation too, but if your fitting to an NA then power capability is'nt going to be an issue. But most 6speeds have a top gear ratio similar to that of the stock Z box, so you have no top speed or motorway cruising advantage...instead you just more gear changes to make - most likely resulting in a slower car overall.
  11. latest from Twinz : Personally I think they must be crazy to not have these in production yet, there is so much demand for them.
  12. My post on 2nd page is re: MiesterR Coilovers http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135564
  13. re: qualifications. I agree, up to a point and depending on the job.... I left college and started work in I.T, the course itself taught me sweet f*ck-all, but the piece of paper got my foot in the door. I eventually ended up in a good positin at a large international organisation who would normally never even consider non university graduates. I used to look back at friends who had degree's and earning less than me and think how they had wasted those years.... ...then I got made redundant from the job that I hated and needed a career change, but without any qualifications in other trades I'd have to stat all over again, at the bottom. I eventually decided what I wanted to be was a Chartered engineer, in the Automotive or Motorsport Industry Its impossible to be a "proper" engineer without a 4 year degree under your belt. There is no "starting at the bottom and working your way up" or apprenticeship route into this field, so at the grand age of 30 I have ended up at a University where Im doing a fulltime degree in Motorsport Engineering for the next 4-5 years.
  14. I would consider the Monoflex and HSD equivelents to be very comparable. Teins have always been overpriced and of average quality, with models such as the Flex and Superstreets being below spec of others on the market, yet still costing more. The EDFC is the best selling point of Teins. The Ksports/D2's ..etc have a bad reputation for quality. Inconsistent valving and leaks. Damping and Springs are too stiff also. This shows lack or R&D and poor quality control standards. Tbh, anything under 1500pounds could be wonsidered a Budget Coilover systems anyway. They all use internal reservoirs without seperate bound and rebound control.
  15. 7 years is my longest. Great pay with all the fancy benefits - car, pension, healthcare ..etc , worked from home with regular trips to Europe........but I really grew to hate the job. No motivation and no enthusiasm for it. I believe Job Satisfaction and Enjoyment are very important. The money and the benefits can be great but if you wake up every morning dreading another working day then you really need reconsider your options.
  16. They seem to have a decent reputation across other marques. Apparently they were made by HSD, but now made by BC. Either way they appear to be another HSD varient, which is no bad thing. I like how they offer have a shock dyno test result, which many of the similar coilovers dont show.
  17. Here was my 2tone interior from many years ago : and the more subtle black leather with blue stitching and suede setup on the Slicky : The two tone has always been a popular setup for the Z's. Zcentre supply Seat retrim kits as do several suppliers in the states.
  18. Common problem due to worn Boot struts. The release cable unlatches the boot but the struts dotn have enough force to push the boot out of the catch, so it relatches when you let go of the lever. However if your removing the stock spoiler you will likely find that afterwards the struts will have more than enough strength to open the boot with all that weight gone.
  19. More often than not they rot from the Inside out, so have it properly inspected and budget for inner sill a well. When having it repaired make sure its seam welded. no, that area is the main length difference on a SWB
  20. ok, I feel like being helpfull now :p Thread about the lip in question : http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=134012 (not from a SEAT or a Pontiac....its self fabricated) Another thread on DIY lips : http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=169423 (not as keen on this one, but it is simple to do) and another on potential product by trader : http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=162101
