  1. Drop Fastorquer a message (He was doing the training last time we chatted (last year) and I believe is now an Instructor) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=2263
  2. Thats 3 powertrix failures (tension arm previously, and now upper arm and arb link) for you now ?
  3. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=htc+hero
  4. R23 GTR/ R33 GTS = Same caliper design as Z (and same pads) but fitment for 296mmx32mm disc (instead of the Z32 280mmx30mm).
  5. ^^^ Agreed , looks like a good example.
  6. Still capable of 160+ , but will get there quicker. Basically acceleration is improved all the way until top speed, so yes mid-range is improved.

There are 2x Z only track sessions already sorted, you will need to visit Zclub or 300zx-club.com. 40 names reserved for the track, and 55 attending so far.
  8. ahhhh...I zeeeeeee mr Peeeeeee
  9. Far...far..far...far easier and cheaper to bolt on a NA rear , than do a TT engine conversion ! Couple of hundred quid for rear subframe and bits, and DIY it.
  10. :scared: You'd buy an NA, then convert to TT...rather than buying an TT and bolting on a NA rear end ?
  11. What browser you using and what actually happens when you trying visiting a secure site ?
  12. Considered the Hero, read it was a decent alternative, but the iPhone 3gs has a quality feel and usability that others don't offer plus you really you cant compare when you take into account the App store. There really is an App for Everything. There are phones...and then there is the iPhone. It just offers so much more.
  13. Im sure I read that the iPhone was coming to T-mobile soon, a while back.
  14. ..except... Im pretty sure the SWB has more legroom, and the slicktop has more headroom..... :tt2:
  15. the UAS car ? The UAS car is a LWB, the SPL and the Powertrix race car's are SWB.
  16. damn..posted same time as Lammypie lol But yeh, a sticking hazard switch is often the culprit
  17. Bmw driver behind the wheel ?
  18. LOL. but why change yours!? Its a nice example...even if it is red :p
  19. What the shorter wheelbase does is put more of the load forces over the axles, compared to a longer wheelbase. So you get increased traction on acceleration and braking and improved steering. Real world example would be Nissan shortening the wheelbase on the 370z, compared to the 350z.
  20. -Lower Weight -Torsional Rigidity - Shorter wheel base = a Faster and better handling base to begin with. oh, plus FIA Regulations on Targa roofs not allowed in Competition use. The LWB vs SWB wheelbase makes a noticable difference to the way the car performs. In theory a Shorter wheel base has an advantage on Twistier circuits while a longer wheel base has a High speed cornering stability advantage. In Practice the SWB feels more agile and responsive, making the LWB feel a bit on the lazy side. Slicktop Torsional rigidiy is also noticable. The SWB shell is already more rigid than the LWB becuase moment of a force is increased by distance, and the slicktop just improves on this further. Stiffer chassis = improved suspension handling and ride. The one thing I would say though is that if drifting is your thing then the LWB is your friend, its easier to hold a slide, whereas with the SWB your have to be much quicker on your toes to catch it. :scared:
  21. The auto uses Different cams profiles and turbo sizes to improve response, in an attempt to make up for the Autobox. Auto Camshafts - 240 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Manual Camshafts - 248 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Auto Turbos - A/R = 0.54 Manual Turbos - A/R = 0.63 300 (manual) and 280 (auto) is the quoted figures for the U.S Market. For the European Market the figures are 276 bhp (Manual) and 263 (Auto). But U.S vs Euro vs Jap thats a whole other discussion.
