  1. Took the plunge and went for a set of Kosei 18" 3-piece Split rims from Japan. Wont be to everyone's taste but they ticked some important points for me - Low Weight (7.7kg), Manufacturing Quality and a big fat lip :) F 18 x 8.5J offset +29mm R 18 x 9.5J offset +37mm Will tinker with the offset for an aggressive stance. Got a bit of a wait though....Going to take 4-6 weeks to arrive by Ship from Japan :glare:
  2. Glad the thermo sorted it  You wont see the stock one go above halfway till your at 100 degrees C
  3., now Im really confused. Taken from your Logbook or Vin plate ?
  4. ah no, I see the issue....yours is RGZ32 , not GZ32 ....but I had missed it out from my list. RGZ32 being the UK 2+2 TT Z32 = 2 seater Non Turbo JDM CZ32 = 2 seater Twin Turbo JDM GZ32 = 2+2 non Turbo JDM GCZ32 = 2+2 Twin Turbo JDM HZ32 = Convertable Non Turbo JDM RGZ32 = 2+2 Twin Turbo UK
  5. :scared: Opps , ok, going to have to correct the list...copied it from one of my previous posts, not sure where I looked it all up from originally
  6. Welcome  Here you go : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128453

  9. Had this problem so many times with Nissan dealers. They just wont do anything without chassis number or Part number. Useless. Not as bad as the time they asked me if the Z was petrol or Diesel, after I had given them them all the details
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130308272845&viewitem= + $170 shipping to the UK (I spoke to them last week)
  11. 4 pages of Films and TV clips with Z's in : http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Nissan&model=300zx
  12. Teen Agent Kill Bill Time Cop Grosse Point Black hang on there is a list with clips somewhere.....
  13. Get it from Nissan dealer, much cheaper. Part number 26590-49P00
  14. Aftermarket ECU/Remapped ECU's are designed to provide the correct fueling and timing parameters to allow you to increase the Turbo boost pressure. They dont provide a significant power increase themselves and they dont increase the boost pressure. To increase boost pressure you need either an Electronic Boost controller (EBC), or "boost jets". An EBC is the most efficient and safest way to increase boost and gives you the flexibility to adjust how much boost you want to run, but are relativelty expensive (150-350 pounds). Boost jets are very cheap, they are basically mig welding tips, used as restrictors in the wastegate feeds. If you go down this route then 1.2mm will typically give you 10-12psi, 1.0mm will typically give you 13-14psi. 14psi is a recommended safe boost limit for stock Injectors. Stock boost is 9.5psi. As for Mines, tomei, Jun...etc - These are all ECU's mapped in Japan and come in different versions (if buying 2nd hand you may not know how mild or aggressive its settings are, and if buying new they are very expensive) and they do tend to run higher octane fuel than we do in the UK making them at increased risk of detonation on our UK fuels. I would reccomend getting your ECU remapped by a UK Specialists ( John Dixon, AndyP, DTA, Zedworld ....etc )in the UK. Mapped for UK fuel and your cars spec. Your looking at between 75-150 pounds depending on who you use. ECU, exhaust, filters, 14psi boost increase is a very effictive power upgrade without great expense.
  15. All out of stock when I try :( Anyone successfully paid and collected yet ?
  16. Says catback and Picture shows catback system. So you get 3 pieces - the centre section, and the two back boxes. To Clarify, Entire exhaust system on a Jap TT is as follows : (catback in blue) manifold > Downpipes > cats > centre > backboxes
  17. Yep, catback is from after the cats to the back of the car...ie cats not included. In terms of fitment you have SWB(2+0) and LWB(2+2) versions, just need to make sure get the right one. Blueflame = Mongoose (sort of). Blueflame used to manufacturer the exhausts for mongoose, until the two companies seperated. The exhausts are basically built to the same design and standards. Blueflame offer 2 versions though. THe original quad exit system, which is the same as the Mongoose system, and the Oval system. The Quad system is quieter than the Oval system.
  18. Welcome, Sorry to hear :( :( Fingers crossed for you chap.
  19. those things are bonded in hard, they take a lifetime to remove, its a lot of hard work. I wonder if they had been smashed and replaced in the past perhaps.
