THE OFFICIAL`ish 300ZX WEIGHT THREAD
Its a very old list from about 5/6 yrs ago, from somebody on one of the U.S forums, been copied and pasted all over the place ever since. Originally in Ibs and converted above to KG by Munny. However unfortunatly....most of it is guesswork and way off !

Belts, Import 1990 TT
Zcentre prices typically OTT. Speak to MJP or even Nissan dealer for better prices. alternatively - Gates belts, halfords and other motor factors sell them. Very good quality, pay about 6-8 pounds each if I remember correctly. They are each a different size, and there is also differences for UK, JAp, TT, NA I have a list of Part numbers for Gates belts saved on my PC, unfortunately I don't remember what they were for : 4PK890 4PK923 4PK985 There is a good chance they are for a Jap TT with an Aftermarket Underdrive (smaller) crank pulley, in which case each of them will be too small.

Remember this zed........
She wants to go see a Doctor if they are that colour ! ;)

Wheel Studs
The wheel studs are all the same. Nissan dealerships require Chassis No. for any part you try to order.....they are useless without it unfortunately Mike @ MJP is much better to deal with and cheaper too. (see traders section). Im sure nobody bases their replies on membership status!

i know mt90 is the preferred gearbox oil but what
I wouldn't say Redline MT90 is the preferred choice for normal use.....normally only used when boxes are experiencing worn syncro noise. Shockproof is supposed to be even better for that though. overfilling would be tricky, due to the fill hole location. You would have to undo the bellhousing bolts, twist the box so the fill hole is at the top, then put extra in, before twisting back the right way and bolting back up.

300zx estate?
nooo....having them squeeze in through the front doors helps to prepare them for how squashed they will be once they are actually in there....if you gave them doors they might actually expect to have somewhere to put their head and legs !

300z power delivery and how to alter it
no, the Jap gauge is in mmHGx100 , and its famously unreliable (Vague) anyway.
-
Manual 300zx chassis number
Baz is right, thats not the full chassis number. Z32 = 2 seater Non Turbo JDM CZ32 = 2 seater Twin Turbo JDM GZ32 = 2+2 non Turbo JDM GCZ32 = 2+2 Twin Turbo JDM HZ32 = Convertable Non Turbo JDM RGZ32 = 2+2 Twin Turbo UK Depends on the Dealer I guess. I used to have to deal with Howards Nissan on a nearly daily basis, and they could only take UK chassis numbers.

daily driver - what to go for?
What a very mixed list! My money would go on the Lexus IS
-
Manual 300zx chassis number
You'll need a UK Chassis number for them to use their system. Unless ofcourse you need a JDM specific part, in which case your better off just getting a partnumber.

HICAS ECU Delete??
The NA has a PAS ECU, in the same place as the TT Hicas version.
-
Gauges
Water(engine/coolant) temp is always the most important aftermarket gauge for the Z ! after that I would go Boost pressure (especially if you have increased boost) and Oil pressure.

Ride/Bumper Height
Correct....99spec sits about 1cm higher than the older bumper.
