  1. They never did a 300zx (z32) Haynes Manual, so chances are they dont do a 300zx t-shirt. A quick google came up with a lot of retailers, including amazon.
  2. The LWB has a false floor that sits above the spare wheel, about 5-6" higher than the actual floor which can be removed for more depth. In my previous LWB I used to take my Wife, 2 kids, luggage for weekend and my Golden Retriever on regular trips to Cornwall, with the Dog and Luggage in the boot ! As pratical as any Hatchback really.
  3. SWB boot is deeper, while the LWB boot is longer. SWB LWB (only pic I could find...would normally be carpet)
  4. The 300zx SWB and LWB boot is much larger (deeper) than the Supra's. Thats not a 300zx Z32...its a Z31
  5. A wide arch kit with a stock front bumper and upside down bonnet vent :(
  6. A much better buy : http://www.dta-motorsport.com/marktplaats/versionr.htm
  7. Really sorry to hear Steve :( Put a separate thread up, listing everything that was stolen..with as much detail as possible - Make, model, specification...etc and everyone will keep an eye out for any such items appearing for sale.
  8. The SPL Track car, fantastic Z. I've posted this and other video's of it previously.
  9. The mongoose/blueflame quad exhaust is probably exactly what your after. Its good quality and is a lot quieter than other aftermarket exhausts, but still sounds great.
  10. Current Z - 3 years in May :( 6 years of total z ownership
  11. I test drove a A4 2.6 V6 a few years back and was impressed. Very smooth, plenty of power and torque. I've had a few VAG 1.8T's as company cars. The V6 is quicker, much smoother and sounds better, but the 1.8T is more tunable. Not sure what current prices are like but looks like a lot of car for the money, a lot cheaper than when I was looking.
  12. The Ksport/D2 brakes have a good reputation, but their coilovers have a terrible reputation. Poor valve damping and a history of leaking. A lot of vendors dropped the coilovers from their range. Their spring rates are also far too stiff which shows a lack of vehicle specific understanding.
  13. Take your pick from : HSD HR Coilovers MeisterR Zeta Coilovers BC Coilovers SPL Coilovers Powertrix coilovers All pretty much the same, and I believe all are either made by BC or HSD. Stick to a max spring rate of 8kg front, 6kg rear for a road/occasional track car.....some of the above may offer a higher spring rate as standard. Dont bother with K-sport, D2 or Tein SS and dont waste more on Tein flex/monoflex.
  14. no, its a 2.6 V6 quattro - Normally Aspirated. The only Petrol turbos on the B5 platform were the 1.8T (single turbo) and the S4 (bi-turbo 2.7)
  15. Sort out the "rat" look with a fresh spray but keep everything else the same and that would be stunning.....much nicer then the blue example above
  16. Either dexon 2 or dexon 3, all are compatible and Dexon 3 superceeds Dexron 2, which superceeds the Dexron (1) specified by Nissan.
  17. The reason for that will be that the Inside of your headlights are dirty, even though they may not look it. You would not believe the difference it makes taking apart a set of headligths and cleaning them.
  18. Nobody knows the "facts" until after Steve has met with the Person in question and police this Friday as he mentioned. This thread and the the onslaught of pitchforks and burning torches responses are all a bit on the premature side.
  19. What is the world coming to !
  20. I cant see from the pics of the specifics of that kit, but I have fitted about 15-20 HID kits in Z's, and every single one was straight forward plug'n'play. They should have a couple of space connectors at the end that you push into the stock connector and everything else just plugs together.
  21. Well, There is the Japanese "Gentlemans agreement" about manufactures limiting the power output of their cars to 280ps (276bhp) at the time....but its been well proven that for other manufacturers and models that actual output was higher than stated......so its very likely that power output is not lower than the U.S Market stated output. However each market has Specifics that could suggestr both higher and lower power output! Region specific changes that would affect power : - Uk cars have an extra catalytic convertor (precat) on the Passenger side Downpipe - Jap cars have restrictors in the exhaust just after the Cats - Jap market has the highest octane in fuels, and different ECU Mapping - UK market has lower octane rating fuel, and different ECU Mapping - US Market has lowest octane rating fuel available, and different ECU Mapping
  22. Nissan advertised Figures : UK TT Manual - 276bhp , 274 Ib/ft UK TT Auto - 263bhp JAP TT Manual - 280 bhp , 286 Ib/ft JAP TT Auto - 280 bhp (not advertised to be any different than Manual) U.S TT Manual - 300bhp, 283 Ib/ft U.S TT Auto - 280bhp
  23. When fitting Halogen bulbs Imports require H3c, however for HID fitment you just want H3.
  24. I dont have any specifics on it, but been done many times.
