  1. Indeed, not exactly the Queens English but he's certainly getting to grips with the language like a true Englishman :).
  2. I have noticed the small polished fuse box cover is roughly the same price at both CZP and Z1, so if someone sees this and wants to put this in their cart, I'd appreciate it, thank you.
  3. Changed 36 of my red dress up bolts to some much better ones..........you can see a few in this pic :).
  4. I have my rears totally flush with the arch and very pleasing on the eye imo. Having someone mention about my fronts sticking out too much this planted a seed !! I put a spirit level on and I have concluded I need 15mm hubcentrics as they stick out 10mm. I offer a Driftworks pair of 25mm ones in a possible exchange, these were £100 as I have the receipt in my service record and are still £100 on their website today. Straight swap or I just buy your quality 15mm ones please, thank you.
  5. I would like the below if someone wants to put it in their cart :thumbup1:. AMS SM POLISHED FUSE COVER
  6. Oh dear Tom, I think you hit enter before you could finish what you were going to put, so I'll complete the post for you..........apart from Wales, Scotland and Ireland .
  7. Looks like you're sorted but I was going to say I have some 25mm Driftworks ones fitted and did you want them for £45 delivered, they're £100 on their site. I am going to pull my fronts in by 5mm, that's the only reason I'm selling as they've been fine.
  8. Thanks Gaz, I'd forgot but it's on now..............c'mon Japan :cool3:.
  9. You'll get plenty of opinions but here's a link to the car in question. Welcome btw. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/nissan/300/used-nissan-300-3-0-zx-targa-3dr-greenford-fpa-201503021364499?logcode=p
  10. They are new Graham, did them a week before JAE and showed them off there, people don't really notice until you tell me them to stand back and specifically look. As you know all my 8 indicators use the same smd yellow strips to match perfectly in every chamber and they're very bright. Because previously I had the clear crystal units in the front corners I had to 'hide' the strips, so I wrapped just 3 around the base of the white bulb I had in there. I then acquired the ones you see with a more forgiving diffuser lens, so I fiddled around with regard placement and decided what the hell I'll see if a Z will work. Done as a quick bit of fun really but I like them and I think they're well executed and for the time being are staying, they switchback with the white cree sidelight bulb I have in there but you expected that they would do that .
  11. This can only be down to me 100%, the powder coating parts put on mainly the plenum was not flushed out and all the grit, etc, washed through the engine. When asked by Lee did I clean it through I told a porky, naively thinking what would be inside would harmlessly burn off !! Forging the engine was a natural progression for me anyway, just that 'things' forced my hand somewhat and all in all I am pleased now it did as this engine is sweet :thumbup1:.
  12. Hey dude, happy birthday :thumbup1:.
  13. Finally I have time and the videos required to accompany this thank you thread . A brief history, I purchased my Z in Nov 2009, throughout 2010 I accumulated new turbos, uprated rad, injectors, intercoolers, clutch, etc. I drove in the summer of 2011 to Lee Dents in Shrewsbury and all this was fit along with the deletes. In June of 2013 my car was bespoke mapped by Noz and I had 504BHP at the wheels with 580BHP engine power, all with stock internals. Brings me to the summer of 2014 where i had some engine bling work done, powder coated parts, etc, again taken to Lee to fit. It was at this point my engine was smoking quite excessively although it still ran without any other issues. Compression testing was carried out in Sept 2014 and the results were aaahhhhermmm.........poor . Throughout the winter '14/'15 I purchased 87mm Wossner pistons, eagle rods, bearings, etc, and in April 2015 because of the smoking I drove in the very small hours to Shrewsbury, I worked with Lee over 3 days ripping the old engine out, cleaning, deleting and stripping it back, Lee in the previous weeks/months had painstakingly found me a sound block to use that just neede honing, it was a case of migrating over. The idea was to refurb my GSP600 Godspeed churbos but they were way way beyond refurbishment, a result of them never being balanced, the were probably on my garage shelf since May 2010. I hurriedly therefore bought the exact same, they came and I dispatched to Lee, as 5 years have now passed since my initial purchase they now it seems balance them in China on a Turbo Technics machine, feel much better even just in the hand/bench from the first turbos I bought all those years ago. Lee had my car 12 weeks and I excitedly got the call to collect, it has been perfect ever since, covering the recent 229 miles round trip to JAE without issue, no smoke, boosts well and I'm only playing about on low setting doing no more than 13.7psi, car is an absolute rocket ;). So here's a vid of where I am today with a perfect lovingly put together forged engine, first part taken at Denty's garage showing the underneath, then a cold start and then the compulsory walk around. 14. After your post 2 I felt it be rude not to !!
  15. I have these fitted for my main beam, they are white, instant and bright enough for flashing but on a dark country road offer nothing extra than my HID dipped and HID fogs. It also involved chopping away at the housing to get the blasted things in as they're chunky, I have this worry with the led fan ones and clearance at the rear. The above bulbs are supposed to be approx 2000 lumens, the internal fan led ones are supposed to be double the light output, if this is the case then fine. I have bought cob bulbs only recently and have been disappointed with them, then there is the concerns what Mondo as stated and as i think this applies less for the mains as it does for the dipped, i don't know whether to give them a go, certainly in my case for the main beam as i do seek an incredibly bright, instant and white H1.
  16. Think i can speak for all us Northerners................we certainly don't want him :whistling:.
  17. It was indeed, you are 'someone', although i could of put lothario and every man and his dog would of known i was talking about you Lee .
  18. You say all that but us members notice every car on the stand, yes others stood at mine and we chatted but i talked to someone about yours and more specifically your wheels and we walked over to it and discussed some more.
  19. Yes did come with a washer on and no problem for me, i even got one for the radiator and that came with one as well and not a problem either.
  20. If it's not too late, get yourself a magnetic sump plug, plenty on ebay :cool3:.
  21. Enjoy your day Birdman :cool3:.
  22. I did wonder why his was in there and not mine :tongue_smilie:. I think i told you that the spread you put on was wonderful, top class burgers, sausage, bacon, etc and I will soon be buying some of those cheese topped barms, they were scrummy. Thank you for all your efforts, certainly appreciated .
  23. Seeing as my back is up from being invisible all weekend................perhaps as a club we can afford one of these for next year :ban:. http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-basics-tbjk14-value-kettle/466-6575.prd?skuId=466-6575&pageLevel=sku&sc_cmp=ppc_sh-_-sh-_-tesco-_-466-6575&gclid=Cj0KEQjwg9-vBRCK7L7wmO2u0JcBEiQA_tzoaC5gvanfuDLyoj3AcsUB6Wy8pUHsVrfa1F5PI6LDCM8aAoh98P8HAQ
