Tyre question again
I have 17's on mine, 8J fronts and 9J rears. Front i have 235/40, this is wrong as i should have a 45 profile but it's just for my aesthetic reasons. Rears are 255/40, spot on profile for a 17 and the Vredestein Ulrac Sessantas i have fitted are a very attractive tire, these do look like they have a little stretch but it's just how the walls are/sit.

fitting side light in 99 spec front indicator unit
Not a bad idea to just put leds in as Rolandas as done. I cannot find my old bulbs and am thinking now I used a switchback module with them inline so it doesn't really matter which bulbs you buy. You get a pair of modules with the tube switchbacks, so just buy the cheapest, modules will definitely switch it how it should be At lot of price difference from the ones I linked earlier and the ones below which will be the brightest possible i expect, the decision must be yours. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-80W-Dual-Color-White-Yellow-1157-S25-CREE-Switchback-Auto-Car-LED-Lamp-Bulb-/261597647536?hash=item3ce86f52b0:g:tNIAAOSwVFlUGoqH

I have one of these bulbs somewhere and iirc they were fine, let me dig out tomorrow and see if it switches correctly and again iirc it did. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Yellow-1157-50W-5630-LED-Dual-Color-Switchback-Turn-Signal-Light-Bulbs-/400789164218?hash=item5d50e550ba:g:21EAAOSwofxUbtqk

If it's all set up correctly, signal will work no matter if sidelight is on or not. Signal is king so when this is live it should turn off the white completely, ie amber off amber off, some cheap bulbs go amber white amber white, you don't want this !! And also some sellers don't even know what they have !!

Just to rain on your parade, i do think the mot regs state that sidelights must stay lit and not go out, modern cars use drl's and these are not even in the test, it's a ll a bit of a grey area atm. Using a switchback bulb is fine and imo not a problem as the bulb just changes on that corner from solid white to a flashing amber and then immediately comes back white but having an halo in your headlight sounds like something you need in your life also and this would serve as a sidelight no matter what you do in the switchback corner. A switchback bulb uses a double contact bulb so you'll need to get a bulb holder to accommodate this.

Turbo Gauge?
Mines a Nov 1994 and no boost gauge out of the factory, there are later series clocks out there with factory boost gauges but these are very thin on the ground but I did acquire and with a boost solenoid and a few bits of pipe mine was up and running in no time :cool3:.

My Fairlady
Decent bulbs in stock location. Fit also are 4 x red quality smd stop/tail bulbs, quicker reacting than factory 21w filament, more redder and they are a touch brighter as I have tested side by side :cool3:.

polished plenum
For me it's a no brainer, get it powder coated mine is in a gunmetal colour and I love it. I notice you have a blue theme going on, so a silver sparkle powder would look just dandy http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?182796-Powder-Coated-Wheels-in-Silver-Sparkle&highlight=

What did you do to your zed today?
I waterproofed a couple of ballasts, these I have for the fogs as you can see and of course they live near the intercoolers and one side was wet on it's pcb and blew the fuse. A new pair fit and positioned also in a slightly different location although now sealed it shouldn't matter :thumbup1:.
