I've got two now and last week I just discovered a guy called archie who stays in the same town as me [ very wee town called troon] and in we've never seen each others zeds on the road untill now !

When I arrived he was having a bit of difficulty removing the two water pipes, all bolts loose but the pipes had seemed to be gummed up with some sort of sealer which made things a little trickier. I left not long after that shot as my extended lunch was nearly over. i'll post up the progress as I can get more shots. The list of jobs i gave him included doing the exhaust, swapping the pollished plennum, moving over all the shinny bling stuff over then if the suspension is in good enough state then thats going to the new zed too.

In the shop Gordie who's doing all the work has started his long list of jobs !

Both zeds have been at the garage for two days now and I was missing them a bit so nipped down today at my lunch to check out what was happening. Turns out the previous job needed a part so work on mine got delayed again. But when i got there today my old zed was out on the side and the black zed was in the shop with the first parts removed ready for the new stat to be fitted. Heres the old zed looking very lost in its multi-coloured body - Not to worry though as it'll get a respray before moving on to a new home.

agreed, prefer version 1, plus the amount of times i pop my stereo out it would be a complete pain having the v2 model !

I was thinking of getting this one but its the cutting up the dash i'm a bit scared of.

Dropped off both of my zeds tonight to the garage of my mate duncan ! Work to be done while they are both there is : swap exhausts swap over water pipes and install new temp stat swap the nice shiny plennum swap over anything else shiny - i luv the shiny stuff Not sure how long they will be both there so looks like i'm zedless for a while. I couldn't get time off so my brothers helping out do the work - i'll get him to update us all with the work being done - just hope hes an ok shot with a camera. I'll post pics up as the come in.

Only really need side/indicators! But as your bumper was already silver it would save a spray job on the black one I've got!

so was it new lights you got or just converted the old ones cos i'm needin a set of old style indicators / side lights !!

Few of the concorde as i was very chuffed at seeing her ! All in it was a great day and drive up there and back !
