  5. I've since removed my airbag for a momo steering wheel but no warning lights show on the dash for anything unusual. also got a plug to fool the airbag sensor from coming on.
  6. Hi, I recently blew the 10amp stereo fuse and when changing i decided to check all the other fuses for blow outs. One that confuses me is a 3amp thats at the top right of the fuse box which was also blown ! i've searched threw the forums and all the translations show the place as empty and mine has a 3amp in it and is clearly marked on the diagram in japanese. I've got a series 4 - 1996 tt. any ideas ?
  7. they likely trim off really old posts, and posts that have pics on them taking up space !

  13. OK Shrek, Finger pulled swiftly and the zeds drivable again!, Yehhh Haaa JAE 2010 here I come !!!
  14. Having the install in the boot had its advantages too, i'm going to slot the alarm box & the jumble of wires it comes with in the cavity next to the antenna motor, plenty of room ! First off I bought a servo to unlock the boot which you can see in the pick below, its not fully fitted yet as i'm missing a relay to activate it from the alarm but I should have that in the post by tuesday. I also tapped into the indicator lights from the back rather than atacking the cables in the control pods which seems to happen on most alarm installs i've seen. Lastly before it got too dark I snapped a pic of the freshly built today interior ! Thats the zed drivable again and I took her for a quick spin round the block. Just me stereo and guages to do next, only 3 days before the trip to JAE so better get cracking.
  15. Been a busy weekend for me so it has, after seeing the post about the hawk alarms I went and bought one for myself too; the model I went for was the HA-260RS as I didn't fancie the LCD version they had. Anyways its comes with a fairly cool remote as below : I've only took a few shots of the install mainly because I dont want to advertise how I did it, anyways I decided for a boot install rather than putting it all under the dash. I know it looks fairly messy but its all simple stuff really ! I made up a custom cable harness of eight cables [all black] that goes from the boot to the ignition, hand break lever and break foor pedal, also a cable for remote locking.
  16. So after i cleaned up the two silver bumpers with the jetti, I took them to my local spray painter who is gonna do them in black for me, I would have had them fitted by now but hes decided to go a weeks hols and i'll have to wait untill after the 16th, bummer ! I was hoping to get them done before the trip to JAE so i'll still have the old ones one. Here they are waiting to be primed :
