the yellow spinning bit as far as i know is for hicas sensor and signal cancelation !

first thing is that centre metal part of the boss is for the TT !! I made the same mistake on my NA and actually damaged the centre part ! The middle boss needs to tighten round the steering shaft but not touch the plastic spinning bit ! So you will need to either remove the centre part that rotates and make a diy bit for the horn if you dont have hicas or find a boss for the NA model which has a thinner metal part that doesn't touch the plastic.

Chuck a couple of eggs an bacon down there and go for a drive early in the morning and you've got yerself breakie on the go !

That 50mb line i've got is a cable service which costs me £38 a month but i pay another £10 due to not taking the tv or phone services from them. So if i moved my phone line to them it would only cost me £28.

You need to organise a a big ass truck to accidently knock that BT pole down ! I've been running off a Cable connection at home for some time now in my hometown of troon and heres the speed test i just done which is fairly impressive in my books.

What's the spec of the laptops ? XP is very fussy about changing hardware but windows 7 works a treat ! See if you can get windows 7 on them !

Well if the club updates its version of the forums to v4 there is now an app for android and iPhone available that is designed for these forums ! ADDITION After reading vbulletins web site the mobile version license of this forum let's you have a branded app for iPhone and android ! Imagine the club app in an app store !!!

Thought I'd do a quick post to find out folks thoughts on when and where the next meet should be. Going back a few months now we tried a coastal meet but nothing ever happened with it. How about we schedule in an Ayrshire meet down Troon beach or something!

I like the competition idea ! Maybe we could have a comp between each region of the country whereby we have a regional best mod or something like that.

Going to back track on this one a bit ! Although you can get hosting for say £15 a month, a lot of services may be very basic and do not provide a lot of bandwidth or storage. I've no idea how much the club pays for hosting and storage or who the club is hosted with, but an active site like this can accumulate a lot of storage and bandwidth which could cost more if the site needs a stable viewing speed for its users. Last thing we need is to run the site on servers that can't cope with the traffic.

I think 10 years ago a server would likely have been the best option and likely could have been run of a small broadband line. Nowadays of course hosting a site can be done for less than £15 a year!

I like the smaller sign too but nothing beats the bigger flag for getting noticed from a distance ! I went to modified live at Knockhill not that long ago and nearly every club had the flag style banners and when we just had our small banner tied to a railing we stole from the car park. I'm not saying there not good but the bigger flag banners give more presence to the club.
