  9. I hate it when you've got a washing out thats totally visable to see but they still start a bonfire ! Neighbours of mine done that last week.
  10. Yip, it's a record ! And thread closed as its turning into a forsale thread !
  11. Never knew there was a reminder, ive never changed my email and never got one when my subs were up ! maybe one for the forum techs.
  12. Theres also the hint of your join date being exactly a year ago ! But i do admit it would be handy having a automated reminder email when subs are due !
  13. I'm up for it, my zeds back on the road now after taking three days to strip off all the bad fitting of my wings and skirts, bloody skirts were stuck on with some industrial strength stuff that took ages to get off. Bottom of the doors and sills will need a cleanup and respray now too but at least shes drivable!
  14. TT has a much heavier clutch so booster is a great benifit unless you have a heavy left foot !
  15. How about a magnetic Reid switch for a door contact connected to a 12v relay !
  16. Well i'm testing the iOS 5 Beta on my iPad2 and iPhone and its great so far. Loads of extra features been added to every new build and now delta updates work.
  17. bump, Still need help on this ! Anyone with a breaker got both door looms that are uncut that I could transplant to mine? Might also need the drivers side lock actuator in case that is what's causing my issues.
  18. Please don't let this turn into a iphone vs android thread ! theres pros and cons to both systems and its like doing the old pc vs mac debate. There people who simple hate Apple and people who just hate anything anti Apple. Its good fun to have a debate on topics but its getting out of hand when people start cursing at each other or at the manufacturers on a thread just because of there personal views.
  19. August / September state side release so likely end of September in the UK!
  20. I'll speak to Gordie again but reckon £400 ! He's told me £250 for the mechanical bit like taking the autobox out and fitting in the manual one so its just the cost of my time really over the three days. He knows plenty about mechanics but zip all about electrics that concern doing the full conversion but i've done it before and it is really easy; It just can be time consuming; as i remove the dash which makes life easier to install the clutch booster and pedals. If you work out the rough costs then : Manual Box plus all parts for conversion :- £550 - £600 New transmission fluid plus any gaskets / seals / pipes :- £50 - £100 Labour - £400 Total £1000 - £1100 Getting a quote for £1200 was not bad actually but unless your paying extra for a warranty on parts would you not rather source your own bits as i did on here then do it yourself ? Plenty of good kits available in the forsale section. Anyways labour on our part would likely be no more than £400 and that would be split £250 for mechanics and £150 doing pedals, booster, electrics and dash work. Lee
  21. i was expecting some sort of womens issues stuff or condoms too ! excellent
  22. Just done mine at a local garage of my mates and we are thinking of doing conversions now! If whoever wants the conversion done we can do it for the costs of labour ! i.e - after you source a conversion kit with all bits needed. It took me and my mate three days to do a conversion and I'm thinking at a push as long as there's no issues we could get it down to just two days. We're based in Ayrshire - Scotland and my auto was converted my myself and my mate Gordie who is a local friend and mechanic. Any interest just PM me.
  23. After I got married my wife changed a lot of legal documents to her new name of young at first she received a new insurance document threw as mrs bernadette Cameron which is actually her maiden name; she promptly phoned to fix the problem stating that the name shown is her maiden name and how could her maiden name be a mrs so can they fix it! The following week a new policy followed in the post showing the name 'Miss Bernadette Young' Followed by another call to fix that mistake !
