  1. Never had one but I've had plenty of close calls where you get that feeling something's not right and slow down just to see the traffic boys with the laser out. I did pass a traffic cop with his laser thingy a few days ago when I was sure I was 10 over the limit but never got pulled for it, I'm guessing either it was my lucky day or a speeding violation is in the post for Monday. I'll soon see.
  2. That's your opinion, I fairly enjoyed what was on offer and also thought that for his first time on the job Vody done a smashing job which next year can now only get better.
  3. Happy Birthday mate, have a good one !
  4. Started off by wanting a digital aircon rather than my manual aircon so found a donor internal loom and changed the whole lot which resulted in the aircon being taken out to change the loom. Then a few months later I done a manual conversion which I removed the dash and some other bits to fit the clutch booster. Planning another strip down shortly when I rebuild the top end of the engine and change the plenum to a nice new shiny one.
  5. I've rebuilt mine about three times this year alone !

  17. Still don't know a definite answer but after searching through a few sites I think as long as the sticker or what ever you use to display the reg number conforms to the dvla standard for size, shape and so on as it is reflective. Although I can't find a definite answer either I have trailed through a few user forums on The subject and the answer seems to be the same that anybody who's got pulled by the coppers says its illegal and they say it's due to the camera systems they use not being able to detect the reg plate and also because the plate itself is not properly horizontal. I say *****cks to that as there must be a way to print off a sticker that can reflect light the same way as a normal reg plate does. Here's a few sites I've found on the legal size but nothing says about being a sticker . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom http://www.theplatemarket.com/display_of_registration_numbers.php http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/PersonalisedRegAndNumberPlates/DG_181503
