  1. So the apple keynote for the new iphone is due to begin at 6pm ! what do you think they will announce ? watch it live here : http://www.ustream.tv/channel-popup/applelivekeynotes
  2. Still don't know a definite answer but after searching through a few sites I think as long as the sticker or what ever you use to display the reg number conforms to the dvla standard for size, shape and so on as it is reflective. Although I can't find a definite answer either I have trailed through a few user forums on The subject and the answer seems to be the same that anybody who's got pulled by the coppers says its illegal and they say it's due to the camera systems they use not being able to detect the reg plate and also because the plate itself is not properly horizontal. I say *****cks to that as there must be a way to print off a sticker that can reflect light the same way as a normal reg plate does. Here's a few sites I've found on the legal size but nothing says about being a sticker . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom http://www.theplatemarket.com/display_of_registration_numbers.php http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/PersonalisedRegAndNumberPlates/DG_181503

  8. Yeh, think that was posted on Facebook ! Think it's a breaker yard devoted to zeds!
  9. In the past I've had the KITT remark from kids and even folks in my work ! But funniest thing ever was when I was at a car show and a bunch of kids no older than 10 were all discussing what it was and one of them who thought he would show his know how shouted out in a commanding voice that it was a 'Zee', after seeing the z badge on the front !
  10. There is a very cheesy mod you can do to the headlight panel with led's then you can do the wow woow effect yourself !
  11. Think it's a mega ohm !
  12. Maybe you should go out and hire a replica KITT and pick her up in that !
  13. See if apache will do a trade !
  14. The main security risks of a hacked account are likely anything that you use the same email address or password for on other places. I know many of us likely use passwords on multple sites as its easier.
  15. If you look at the active users we have over 100 guests viewing profiles and trying to change passwords ! All from the same IP range, i dont have admin privledges to block a range so until an admin can do that best keep an eye out.
  16. Hi all, This is just a quick notice to make sure everyone has a very secure password for this site. It has came to our attention that the site is currently under some sort of cyber attack and that the attackers are attempting to change user passwords after viewing user profiles. I must stress that security is key and the last thing we want is your account getting hacked by some 15 year old :censored: sitting in china. I'm going to keep an eye on the site for the next 30 mins or so but if anyone suspects hacked accounts or suspicious activity please reports it to either a mod or to a committee member asap. Thanks Lee
  17. Fantastic news, glad your part of the team !!

Weekend is likely best for me !
  19. funny thing is i've got the same momo and ive had it fitted to both my NA and TT My NA is a 1991 and TT is a 1996 ! And there is def a differance in boss's (well at least on mine) i'll try see if i can get a pic of the other boss adapters tonight !
  20. the yellow spinning bit as far as i know is for hicas sensor and signal cancelation !
  21. first thing is that centre metal part of the boss is for the TT !! I made the same mistake on my NA and actually damaged the centre part ! The middle boss needs to tighten round the steering shaft but not touch the plastic spinning bit ! So you will need to either remove the centre part that rotates and make a diy bit for the horn if you dont have hicas or find a boss for the NA model which has a thinner metal part that doesn't touch the plastic.
  22. Chuck a couple of eggs an bacon down there and go for a drive early in the morning and you've got yerself breakie on the go !
  23. Lol, bloody fantastic !! If your a bit confused, read the description !!
  24. That 50mb line i've got is a cable service which costs me £38 a month but i pay another £10 due to not taking the tv or phone services from them. So if i moved my phone line to them it would only cost me £28.
  25. You need to organise a a big ass truck to accidently knock that BT pole down ! I've been running off a Cable connection at home for some time now in my hometown of troon and heres the speed test i just done which is fairly impressive in my books.
