No Central Locking
Is there a hidden fuse somewhere that could be blown ? I've checked all the footwell fuses at the drivers side and double checked the cabling on both doors but locks still won't lock centrally! I've tried to trace the two cables on the passengers side which are blue/green and blue to the drivers side but at the drivers side I get no signal to what I think is the other side of the cables. I think I need another zed with the same loom to compare against to fix this. Also the diagram you gave me doesn't match my series of zed as colours in the looms are different. Again need help.

No Central Locking
tried it but the doors still wont lock, although the plug for the actuator is different i cant figure out what goes where colour wise as thats different too. Also there was an extra long cable with two pins, any ideas where that plugged into ?

No Central Locking
Still totally stuck with this. I've checked all fuses and everything seems to be ok, it seems my door loom differs to the main dash loom i fitted a few weeks ago hense the fault with the central locking. there is four cables that goto the door actuator / lock - does anyone know what each cable does ? I've check the diagram posted by groover but i'm lost to understand it as nothing matches. HELP:wacko::sweatdrop:

flat battery (99 spec 3rd brake light)
Yeh it's should blow a fuse somewhere, how did you wire up the brake light ? Did you put it in series with the other lights or link it in parallel ?

Odometer
Done it on mine but likely people are reluctant to say how or why they did it. If it's a genuine reason to clock it back to genuine miles then ok but having a how to of howto clock the odometer on the forums is a legal no no and anyone who posts it will likely have the thread pulled by one of our mods!

Timing and base idle adjustment on a manual conversion
Just completed my manual conversion and boy did I enjoy the run home, as short a run as it was; it's the most fun I've had in my zed in a long time! So, Before leaving the garage I ran a quick consult. Timing on conzult was siting at 5 but then remembering the neutral switch I wired to the ecu from the gear box I pushed the clutch down and shifted her into gear and timing shot to 15. Regarding timing should the base idle be adjusted at an idle of 5 in neutral or should I be getting somebody to hold it in gear while I adjust it. I'm only guessing 15 is the correct timing so can anyone confirm this too. Cheers
