  2. After he stood down as being the NEO he seemed to have stood down from the site too :( He more or less lingers on Facebook now.
  3. When it came to my respray I decided to do the engine bay matte black and i'm glad I done it. Now the full engine bay stands out :) But it all depends on the original colour of the car.
  4. ordered a heli coil kit to fix the bolt on my gearbox :)
  5. With the help from a fellow car enthusiast the gearbox is now fitted once more :) Also fitted the single piece prop and gearbox loom upto the starter which I now have an issue with. Looks like the bell housing has a busted bolt to secure the starter so I thing I need to heli coil tap it.
  6. failed miserably at fitting my gearbox :(
  7. how the hell do you get the gearbox back in if the zed is only on axle stands. Been heaving the daft thing on a jack and wooden blocks for about 2 hours and cant get it to marry up. When I try the top end of the gearbox can only go so far before jamming.
  8. lol, It was sold to a guy up that way about 6 months ago I think so guess he's trying to punt it on. Has a few under body rust issues that could be solved but wouldn't say its worth any more than 2.5k - 3k tops.
  9. I'm on 19's and running on falken 453's, I find they are a great all weather tyre.
  10. are you still using your email account from the uk ? ie btconnect ? Don't think BT has the best of built in spam filters so maybe invest in something like avast.
  11. Hi Jeff, They may be genuine but unfortunately your email address has been used as the source of whatever spam that was sent. The person who's sending the spam simply spoofs the email header and inserts your email address as the origin. Receiving servers then reply to you rather than the original spammer. It also could be that those emails themselves are the spam and that they are designed to make you investigate what you think could be wrong and you end up opening one of the attachments which could end up hijacking your pc via a virus. Its likely a combination of the two scenarios and what ever reason your email is been targeted. Is the email account you use publicly advertised anywhere for spammers to pick up and use ?
  12. Hi mo, Bank transfer usually takes a few days but as we are such nice guys :) I've enabled your new subs now. Thanks for your support; and if you get your details over to Garry he can get a new membership pack out. Lee
  13. Bloody hell Jeff, you still running Windows XP ? Surely the retirement package could of bought you a new laptop :)
  14. This was on the main display today in Glasgow Central Train Station
  15. Looks like Doc and Marty arrived in my neighbouring town.
  16. Likely to do with the banner change.
  17. Cheers, Had some spare time on my hands, lol
  18. yeh, It was me, well I was under the zed and those legs belong to Stewart Gunner who was assisting the situation.
  19. Knocked up this for the occasion. :)
  20. They know about it and to be honest they are not fussed as its a bit of protection for there own property.
  21. It could be better if a bought a stand out, the white wall reflects a lot of the IR light and decreases visibility. I have another one of these that I plan to point at my back door too, but i'll need to run a new cable first.
  22. The camera is retail about £175 each but I managed to pick a new one up for £100 plus postage. Normal analogue cameras generally have a fixed resolution and are very low quality but a move to a complete digital system means the picture quality is greatly increased and this particular camera is 3 mega pixels.
  23. Installed one of my new ip cameras today which watches over my zed. Was a fairly easy job to do as it was an upgrade to an old analog system I had so took about an hour to get it properly setup. Done a lot of research on the CCTV market and my preferred system is hikvision so I've managed to blag a 3MP ip camera which records straight to my synology nas. Anyways here's a screen shot of the view it gives me :
