Test drive done, it stalled only once when braking at a junction and never again. so I think i'm good to go, zed is packed with everything needed and likely be leaving in a few hours.

Dash back together and just going to take it a drive around the block.

Ripped out the immobilizer relays and done a botched together job with some choc block and its alive :) :) Just need to rebuild my dash.

OK, if I have no power at ignition side but all the fuses are OK, what can it be? Also tested the battery and it's fine

Took the zed for a test drive which went OK, But it stalled at the traffic lights and then I lost all power. Luckily just 500 or so. Meters from my house so gonna push it home. Update soon.

refitted the rest of the center of the dash after the gearbox was out then secured the battery back down. The plan was to then swap out the bottom crank pulley and I started with removing the belts but then I noticed that I couldn't find my socket to remove the damn thing so a trip to Halfords tomorrow to buy one. :(

Always used the professional version of Microsoft Outlook and I think its the best.

two and a half hours in the rain and the exhaust is fitted and the rest of the intercooler pipes put back together. Started her up and the boost gauge went +7 but managed to find I missed a vac pipe and was an easy fix. Tomorrow I need to put the interior back together and also the major thing needs done is to replace the bottom pulley which I know is going to be a pig to do.

In about an hour I will be putting my waterproofs on to try fit my exhaust in the dark and its pouring. And it needs to be done if I want to show her at the NEC on Thursday.

After he stood down as being the NEO he seemed to have stood down from the site too :( He more or less lingers on Facebook now.

When it came to my respray I decided to do the engine bay matte black and i'm glad I done it. Now the full engine bay stands out :) But it all depends on the original colour of the car.

ordered a heli coil kit to fix the bolt on my gearbox :)

With the help from a fellow car enthusiast the gearbox is now fitted once more :) Also fitted the single piece prop and gearbox loom upto the starter which I now have an issue with. Looks like the bell housing has a busted bolt to secure the starter so I thing I need to heli coil tap it.

Speed Sensor

how the hell do you get the gearbox back in if the zed is only on axle stands. Been heaving the daft thing on a jack and wooden blocks for about 2 hours and cant get it to marry up. When I try the top end of the gearbox can only go so far before jamming.

lol, It was sold to a guy up that way about 6 months ago I think so guess he's trying to punt it on. Has a few under body rust issues that could be solved but wouldn't say its worth any more than 2.5k - 3k tops.

I'm on 19's and running on falken 453's, I find they are a great all weather tyre.

are you still using your email account from the uk ? ie btconnect ? Don't think BT has the best of built in spam filters so maybe invest in something like avast.

Hi Jeff, They may be genuine but unfortunately your email address has been used as the source of whatever spam that was sent. The person who's sending the spam simply spoofs the email header and inserts your email address as the origin. Receiving servers then reply to you rather than the original spammer. It also could be that those emails themselves are the spam and that they are designed to make you investigate what you think could be wrong and you end up opening one of the attachments which could end up hijacking your pc via a virus. Its likely a combination of the two scenarios and what ever reason your email is been targeted. Is the email account you use publicly advertised anywhere for spammers to pick up and use ?
