1. They know about it and to be honest they are not fussed as its a bit of protection for there own property.
2. It could be better if a bought a stand out, the white wall reflects a lot of the IR light and decreases visibility. I have another one of these that I plan to point at my back door too, but i'll need to run a new cable first.
3. The camera is retail about £175 each but I managed to pick a new one up for £100 plus postage. Normal analogue cameras generally have a fixed resolution and are very low quality but a move to a complete digital system means the picture quality is greatly increased and this particular camera is 3 mega pixels.
4. Installed one of my new ip cameras today which watches over my zed. Was a fairly easy job to do as it was an upgrade to an old analog system I had so took about an hour to get it properly setup. Done a lot of research on the CCTV market and my preferred system is hikvision so I've managed to blag a 3MP ip camera which records straight to my synology nas. Anyways here's a screen shot of the view it gives me :
5. Yeh, We had a database crash, no idea why. I'm still reviewing the logs. Lee
6. Saw this and thought it was funny. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/6690682/Desperate-migrants-confront-bear-in-lorry.html?CMP=spklr-_-S9SunSocial-_-FBPAGE-_-TheSun-thesun-_-20151014-_-Video-_-255629632-_-Imageandlink
7. Great, here's Stewart and me arriving.
8. Just wait until next years Scottish car show ! I'll be there and hopefully supported by a few other zeds.
9. Done an RS and a guy called Bitsy owns it. Was done at the same time but I picked my colour months before it got done. Had a few arguments on facebook with the guy as him n his mates say I stole his colour. Like a colour is personally owned, I said to him that I had picked my colour well before his and the two cars can't be compared as they are both so different.
10. Planet Performance in Dundonald.
11. I bought the same ones but can't remember what the lines looked like at the ends. I do recall that they needed to be bloody tight as mine kept leaking at first.
12. Can you post a screen shot of it?
13. Hi tom... (imagine 10plus people saying that, lol) I've done many a road trip too for a zed and the biggest one I did I travelled down near to south end on sea from Scotland and back with a low loader, and I ended up breaking her after I bought it. When you catch the zed bug you just can't help yourself. I've spent thousands on my main zed but still eye up bargains I see on ebay or at local auctions. Then the wife slaps me and brings me back to reality. :)
14. Not the easiest to take apart depending on how good condition yours are in. Here's mine when I stripped them. But I bought new outer and inner rubbers for a complete rebuild.
15. Does everyone know that they need to click on the checkbox at the top of the thread to vote ? Just asking as i'm seeing verbal votes on the thread but not actually votes towards the poll !
16. Jap for me. Don't mind the long reg plate but I don't like the fog placement.
17. Now that I look at the pictures again I think its custom, but cool all the same :
18. I'm sure they do make them as Andy has one with both the boost controller and turbo timer, else his is custom made.
19. Not bad if i may say. I loved wood work when i was younger and was good at it but doubt i could do that :)
20. Just used a small flat head screwdriver but work it out carefully.
21. There is a seal at both ends which isn't pictured. One is on the plate that you remove in the bell housing and the other is at the drive shaft side.
22. Bump, For anyone going to the NEC this year please use this discount code ! CSCMS15
23. Finally wrapped the whole thing up in an old sheet a covered it with a tarpolin to keep it water tight over night.
24. Up close shot of the old bolts for the oil cooler lines and a new sump plug.
