Pistons were ceased so no choice this time, anyways have new seals to put them back together. Still on my way home with 100 miles to go, currently at Gretna.

Is the cable USB or 9 pin serial? If USB does other devices work OK on the same port. It could simple be a comport issue, check the settings of consult and ensure its using the correct port.

Used an engine gunk remover to get all the excess grease, oil and muck removed which the wife kindly done. One calliper was jammed stiff so I've left it to steep in oil over night to see if it will free up a bit.

Even though we both have series 4's our looms are totally different. The pic I showed comes from the round spinning disc and controls the airbag, horn, cruise and hicas. I can see its even a different colour between my pics and yours. All in there is 8 cables on mine.

Whats happened? He was originally based in Ayrshire near me. We planned on sharing a unit together up here a while back.

I still have the old rubbers and when you compare them the older ones are longer by at least 10mm. The rubber that covers the end is missing yes but the other trim should still butt up close to it.

The bad issue I've got is to do with my new quarter glass trims in that they seem to be too short. The gap is big enough that I couldn't be properly sealed up so the question is has zcentre sold me quarter moulding from a shortie ?

Working on my fog lights today as well as a few other issues; some good some bad.

Full set of callipers arrived from Banzai today so plan to get these cleaned up, degreased and refurbed with the new piston and seal kits that I bought last week, finally a repaint to make them new looking. These are aluminium so will replace my rusty cast iron callipers.
