looks nice and tidy that bud, im not a fan of the rear lights but each to there own and easily changed so no big issue there. if you find its still vibrating over 50 with the wheels balanced properly it could be the prop centre bearing. but still nothing major so looks like a nice one. DONT break the bloody thing this time lol

Would of been my solution from the start jeff, change the engine.

Eggs my advice would be get the engine out of the car and asses the turbos, but expect to be changing an engine to be honest, quickest and easiest solution and most likely the cheapest. then if you still feel that engine is good, strip it down and have a look you will soon know, but at least you will have a working zed, id advice changing exhausts for a while as well when changing engine or your going to find you will not be able to tell if the new engine is smoking or not due to the amount of oil / water in the current exhaust unless you can get that one cleaned up some how.

The reason skylines are top of the food chain is simple math. its cheaper to get the bang for the buck on mods (which is strange as skylines seem to be more expensive than zeds, so kind of defeats the argument really LOL). but until you have been in a twinturbo healthy lightly modded zed. dont put all your eggs in one basket. Ooh and im not biased, as i was originally looking at a R33 before i got a zed.

The idea is actually for drifting, you stretch the wall of the tire so you get less tolerance when needing the back end to slide out as there is no movement in the side wall of the tyre. other people took the idea thinking it looked cool. Personally i think its dangerous for a road going car and not a big fan of the look either as it leaves your rims exposed.

that does sound like water ingress, working one min and not the next, good luck you will find it easier if you remove the plastic around the fuse box, simple do to just in a cramped space.

check your targa drain tube in the drivers footwell to make sure its not leaking water over the back of the fuse box. i had the same issue on an old zed and had to change the fuse box due to water ingress from a targa tube that had come disconnected from its drain outlet.

nope, the cam belt sprocket sits behind the pulley, the pulley with the timing marks on, just drives the power steering, fan, AC and alternator. If you measured around it, you would be off, but as the pulley is still turning the same speed as the cam, a new mark on the light pulley in the correct place will still give the same reading. hope that makes sense lol

diameter is different as the unorthodox is smaller, would be best lining it up when both are off the engine.

with great difficulty, what you will be best doing, and i know your not going to like this, but pulling the after market pulley off, getting a OEM one, sticking that on, doing the timing, taking that one off, using the OEM one to mark up the unorthodox and putting that on, then rechecking the timing to see if your mark is correct.

looking very nice mate, everyones zed seems to sit better at the front than mine, wondering if my springs are on back to front. even when yours had OEM on the front it sat better than mine did.

Nope, but you do have to wire the neutral switch up, there are a few type ups and what not just do a search should get a few hits.

the ones on my current TT are a bit to be desired, but the ones on my cherry red zed, worked extremely well, it does boil down to what pads you have on, they can make a big difference as well.

nout wrong with the OEM brakes bud, refurb them and see how good they actually work, there is a significant difference between old tired OEM brakes and new ones (refurbed or just plain working how they should), i wont deny that Bigger brake upgrade is a better option.
