  1. nope, sorry capri doesn't do anything for me i'm afraid in fact most fords don't, ill stick with my 240, 260 and 300zeds lol
  2. Booo, its gone and i didnt get it :crying: Someone made a 5.5k offer and he still refused it? may as well of not bothered adding the offer button lol
  3. come live in northampton, the old plod are so used to seeing done up cars and such either going to or coming from pod, they just let you get on with it. Like wise, i get flashed and waved at by all the pod lot going to and from pod, its like one big car mad family down here.
  4. aww and there was me seeing you reply thinking you were going to buy me car so i could get it
  5. not if you own a 300zx lol, but at least you can imagine one until the starter gun goes off again lol
  6. Hicas arm, on the end is the big bolt that secures it to the actuator there is a locking section as well (not in photo), but if you stick one spanner on this (the large big square bit) and one on the other side, they basically undo each other.
  7. one sec ive still got my hicas arm under the kitchen sink, ill get a photo of the bit im on about, but in the mean time, if you rotate one while looking at the other, you should see it turn.
  8. you need i think its a 36mm spanner on each end, if its just spinning, id becareful of undoing the track rod end on the other side lol. you have to massive locking nuts near the activator, if that makes sense, i had the same issue when undoing mine to change a hicas arm.
  9. woot, always nice when the finish is in site, now someone by my zed so i can get that 260z lol
  10. "dear who ever is up there listening, can i please win the lottery tonight, doesnt have to be the jack pot, but a nice £10k so i can get this and have a bit of fun - thanks :)"
  11. i need a 2 + 2 i got kids lol but i do agree, though that will be some thing for when they leave home when they are old enough, only another 15 years to wait then lol
  12. when you get it back, remove the 30amp fuel pump fuse from the small fuse box inside the engine bay, that will stop the little *******s robbing it again, just remember to put it back in when you want to go any where in it, other wise you will just end up cranking the engine until the bat goes dead.
  13. yep love it, plus if what he says is true its had all the body work already done. Id have to replace the seats with genuine 260z ones though if i ever got that lol
  14. Because id love this lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Datsun-260z-Classic-arches-leather-seats-17-rotas-MORE-/270914855521?_trksid=p4340.m1374&_trkparms=algo%3DPI.WATCH%26its%3DC%252BS%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6510676367666050738#ht_774wt_1396 Dunno what it is, but im loving the 240 and 260 more and more each time i see one thats been done nicely
  15. id stick um on my road car, i have no intention of tracking or dragging me car, but they sure would help fill the void that my 19" create with the standard set up and also help with the breaking that you dont get with standard disks lol Plus they look bloody mean :D
  16. yeah, i noticed this when i wired mine up, all the little colour stripes down the plastic, all match to the corresponding wires on the other loom its the major colour that differs. Ive hard soldered my S2 PTU loom onto my new wiring loom that had Pink (yes pink) cabling with the smaller colour wire the same colour as the one for the S2 loom. if you get stuck i can get some pictures of mine if you like?
  17. yeah i know fecked it a bit couldnt get the damn image into the next box for it to upload stupid bloody thing lol Pay attention to the arrows on the PTU's bud, but if you have some loom with both use the secondary colour on the wire (the thinner colour) it should match up.
  18. ew dont like this attachment crap on this new one but here ya go
  19. ive got one gimmi a sec by the way you if you take note of the second colour on the wire you cant go wrong
  20. i had a black zed, got rid of it for a nice cherry red, so that statement isnt exactly correct
  21. start it up again and see if it still does it, might find it could of been oil that dripped out from the balance bar and landed on something that gets hot and it was just burning off before you start pulling everything apart.
  22. doh! teach me for not paying attention lol, read that as hight not weight
  23. i like blue zeds am i biased?
  24. as it will be booked in for a MOT take it for a good run beforehand and give it the old Italian tune up, make sure the engine is up to temp, what year is it? as this will depend if they have to test it as a catalytic converter test or not, if its pre 92 make sure they understand that it goes on the none cat test even with cats fitted.
