  1. most likely if its leaking air in as that S shaped pipe goes to the idle air valve.
  2. i beg to differ, it was in the "general chat" area that IS available for none registered users, until it was moved.
  3. i find this one better astISOttCQ0
  4. Well considering i haven't signed up for zxclub, i will say though that the board section where all this kicked off was actually available to non registered members, from what i read there were no warnings unless these happened after id left the post on the final comment, the other point id like to make is Constructive criticism is always a good thing. Gary has been a very good mod here and a very liked person and knowing him a bit better than most wouldn't of set out to cause malice. Alex sometimes you do get a bit hot headed for your own good. you seem set in your ways on certain things and have taken things out of context on many occasion. I seem to recall Steve burns putting a post up about spam bots on that same section not to long ago and a few others posting about a mass exodus of committee members, no bans where ever handed out and things got acted upon so its not beyond you to actually listen to criticism and act on it, from what i can tell You have taken things in the wrong context as Gary is a mod here and also so happens to be the person who banned you. Sometimes being a mod or committee of a large club means you have to look at things form out side the box regardless of your personal feelings towards someone, may be you should of looked at it in a constructive criticism stance instead of an out right attack and got all defensive. I have no doubt that Garys comments were more on a helpful front to try and help bring relations together, but with you being banned by him most likely looked at it in the wrong way and things got heated. Personally i think this whole situation may well have been different had Gary not been head moderator here.
  5. copy and paisted as gary has asked me to.
  6. back right hand side of the plenum, can be a pain to get to with all the wires in the way, there are 2 connectors one blue one yellow iirc, im certain its the yellow one at a right angle to the battery you need. if not its the blue one lol or may even be black, as ive had a black one before. but you will know what i mean when you look, the connectors sit pointing towards the drivers side.
  7. If you have a location to keep it off road and safe, put a cover over it sorn it and it wont cost you a penny, then see how things pan out. get a cheap run around in the mean time, once things improve get her back on the road so you can enjoy it.
  8. happy days and a easy fix, hows she driving now anyway matey?
  9. You class "perfectly polite" with a opening statement of "Utter tripe"? Actually we are grown ups here, he has asked for an explanation, please find the courtesy of at least giving him one with out all the bitchyness.
  10. I actually have to disagree with you on that point garry, they have Broken the rules of this club laid out by our AUP, especially with the posts on Outlawjap club coming to light, but the biggest difference is they are still welcome here and not banned, hence the not over moderation like some people seem to think.. The biggest problem is there is a slight bad taste in the air due to you having to recently ban hollowpoint, Plus with Sexycrayola also receiving a ban sometime ago. One of the reasons ive not signed up to zxclub is because no matter what i say if i have a different opinion on something it will always been seen as me "having a dig" because i am a moderator on here, So i choose not to bother with it to save all the head ache as i have enough on my plate as it is. Unfortunately things like this will cause further segregation with in the zed community amongst a few people, this unfortunately is going to be the inevitable out come due to a lot of our banned members also being members on zxclub. As a last thought though, Our AUP has been in place a long time, when you become a mod team member here we agree to uphold that AUP, like wise when someone signs up to the site they agree to abide by the same AUP, some people do not like it but its constant and every one including my self have to adhere to it, hell ive had to moderate one of my own forsale posts as id become a regi yet stayed red so hadnt even noticed so had to pull my own thread, how ironic lol But i will say one thing, we do not over moderate like some people like to assume, ive been on the aus300zx site that bans members for all sorts of reasons and when threads pop up asking why, those asking have also received a ban. Like wise with a few of the gaming sites ive been on, moderation takes a heavy hand with people being banned for not liking the admins in game or the moderation staff of the actual website. We are actually quite relaxed in how we moderate, hell im still yet to issue my first ban and ive been a mod since 2010.
  11. No snow here today though my mate stopped brushing his hair now.
  12. Sounds like air lock coupled with low coolant level Sounds like what i had with my z32, might be an idea to change the old coolant pipe work as well as mine was letting air into the system but the cracks were not big enough to let water out.
  13. me 3, we have a few good venues close by i think we can get a mini midlands meet going.
  14. +1 to this, and when covered properly look the mutts nutts as well.

  16. hahaha until jeff highlighted it i thought you had stuck a 99spec front on it. oops i was looking for the lip wondering where it was. looking fantastic bud.
  17. i see a few porkies in there as well by the read of that? friday night to saturday morning, jason had the beast in the tent. then was removed for the show and spent the night out side on saturday to sunday, i have the photos to prove that. as Chris (Artztogo) had his car in the tent to have its rear lights done from the saturday to sunday and was removed on sunday, so not sure what they are on about there?
  18. meh pictures would help lol come on jason you know that one :) or would that be giving away the big secrets hehehe
  19. the front ones, unclip it off the top and slide it up the screen matey. bit of a fiddly job trying not to break the clip but can be done. as for the ones going over the top same clip as at the top of the windscreen ones but you will most likely end up braking them ones. so might be an idea to get some replacements from nissan. dont ask me about the targa ones as i havent got a clue lol
  20. were actually doing great matey, how are you?
  21. yeah we had my draper timing light, the lower pulley was a unorthodox one, there was a mark on it, but wasnt sure if it could be trusted, when the timing was set to 15dbtc on the pulley, the car just wanted to die, when set back to 30btdc it idled but rough as old nails, this was after the engine was brought up to temp by holding it at around 1k rpm by hand. id never set the timing just by using consults.
  22. well so far airsoft is looking the more likely then lol, sweet, might have to dust off the old M83A1 for an outing if people are interested in doing airsoft?
  23. i best not dig my airsoft photos out lol, though as your on my facebook nothing stopping you going and having a nose lol
  24. ill have to run that by the committee, but im also running by me mate as to what discounts we can get depending numbers. i think the biggest issue i can see is with rentals, as i know they are limited on numbers of rentals for airsoft, but not too sure on the paintball side of things, ive got a few airsoft guns so im covered for that lol. but never really dont paintball, im more a realistic firearms type of guy, but im open to having a go at paintball. completely agree with you on that, i love airsoft. ive also marshalled for finmere as well, had a USP match blowback gas pistol, a M4 commando, and a L96 that was firing at 498fps.
  25. Right got a very good friend who runs the finmere paintball and airsoft weekend events. and was wondering if anyone was interested in doing this. would like to get it for 300zx subscribed members only, ill be in talks with him this week about it and hoping to book a date sometime in the summer months. Hoping to get this going for a large group of us to split into two teams, mix with the regulars (who are a brilliant bunch of people and will make you all feel at home) and generally have a awesome day out. This year would also like to get a convoy going for a day out to the beach / seaside but somewhere nice, one in the south and one in the north to try and cater for most of us, so thoughts are welcome on this as well. So location suggestions for a meet at the beach in the south, and in the north. and what would you prefure, paintball or airsoft.
