  1. its not that bad, everyone makes it out worse than what it is, but if you do it on rotation as there is two of you, then it makes it a lot easier. doesnt last long either (sometimes lol)
  2. ive got 235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear, though i have slight stretch on mine on the rear, and 275 is most likely the ideal tyre for my rim.
  3. im using 2 types of wheel nut, not only the locking wheel nut for all 4 wheels but also something similar to these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Tuner-Wheel-Nuts-x-20-12x1-5-Honda-Civic-Integra-Accord-Jazz-Prelude-CRX-/110804032270?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item19cc6f5b0e#ht_597wt_1163
  4. if you own a second vehicle get a quote with lynbrook and save your self some cash, more often than not flux give prices for us well over what other insurance company's do, im 33 live in a not so good post code area and still only pay 330 my insurance renewal has come in at 340 so gone up by £10
  5. this is markdarbys picture, he has a water by pass but basically this is a good idea to do.
  6. If you on the back of the engine....wait mark put a good photo up the other day with the lay out of the water pipes on the back of the engine. you will have to check and replace, if you haven't done so already might be an idea to do a plenum by pass, dont just renew the pipe thats split, as others will be the same age, may as well replace them all in one go to have piece of mind.
  7. how did you get insurance with them with a modified zed? soon as i told them mine was modified they said they couldnt insure me?
  8. Most likely as cat second function is to aid in silencing.
  9. Only issue i found with footman James, is they wouldn't insure my modified 300zx and wanted my mileage at 5k miles per year, other than that, if it was completely standard i got a online quote of £465, which although is good, is still £110 above my latests renewal that's due on the 7th of march, so i phoned them they got it down to £310 which is 30 lower than my current renewal, but then when asked if it was modified, after giving all the details over they would not insure on a modified 300zx sadly other wise id of ripped there arm off for that. good quote though if you have a non modified zed its well worth a venture, beats adrian flux with the £4200 with the 15% member discount? lol
  10. It sets car alarms off if they are sensitive enough lol
  11. ghost? lol Naa on a serious note, unscrew the dish wires from the back of the box and check to see if they are indeed working there way loose from the end connectors.
  12. Custom, decat with 6 and a half inch exits. sounds lovely and would love to get a video of it doing a drive by (with out the guns lol)
  13. have you checked the dish wires going into the screw in end caps, mine had a problem of falling out of this. failing that, you could try a system update but only if you can hold signal long enough 1. Turn Off Your Box At The WALL 2. Hold The BACKUP Button Down On Your SkyBox 3. Continue To Hold The BACKUP Button In And Turn It On At The Wall 4. When A Message Appears On Screen UPDATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE And The Lights Light Up On The Box, Release The BACKUP Button 5. Wait Until The SkyBox Goes Into Standby If you can get a steady signal with the box somewhere other than the cabinet, do the update there, you do not want to be doing a update and losing the signal. so if you worry about that, do not bother.

  15. looks like a lot of work, but with him replacing the rocker head covers, most of the rest is going to be in the same location so shouldn't actually take that long to do Ive got quite a bit of work to do on my zed. doubt it will be ready for zed fest but will be partially finished for JAE.
  16. I think it would be more likely something to do with the alarm system, most use the interior light as a sensor point, so when the door gets opened the alarm sounds as the interior light comes on. may be how they have modified it in, ive had 5 zeds and not one had this feature. so im thinking its alarm specific.
  17. aww thanks, me too even if the mrs couldnt rev it like i asked her too (didnt want her to rev the arse off it, just give it little blips to get the revs slightly higher an let it settle down before doing it again) have some rep :)
  18. well as your in the northampton / wellingborough area when are you going to pop along with the zed and say hello?
  19. id be interested in S2 aircon pod with ecu depending price matey.

already messaged him about all that, im currently waiting on the forms to come through, on the website we were asked to put down if we wanted the same plot, which i already said yes too.
  21. torch? not trying to sound mean here, but you can get LED torches from tescos that clip on to your keys that are small enough to not get in the way.

well having the rep meet first in march before i set anything in concrete bud. once that's happened, ill have more information to go on.
  23. never see the point in that, no matter how dark its been ive always managed to find the door handle to open the door to turn the interior light on when getting in lol
  24. vodkashots replied to bird's topic in Events - UK
well stop chatting on here and go get it done lol
  25. set the interior light to the middle position, it should then as Phutumsch said, turn on when you open the door.
