Falken website?
cheapest for the falkens ive seen so far is around 147 per tyre, 138 for the Avon ZZ3's. would much prefer to pay for new tyres than take a hit on my licence with 6 points and fine lol

Falken website?
pretty sure there was a direct website to buy falkens from? need to price up two new rear tyres for mine as they are getting close to the legal limit. though have to say ive found the Avon ZZ3's to be quite grippy so may even go for another set of them.

how the bloody hell do i find the right paint for my car????
they got my cherry red mixed up and it was a perfect match. Just remember though, they only sell you the base colour, as some one mentioned 20 year old paint might need a help to get it back to its original colour. also you will need a can of 2k lacquer to give the shine back a protect the paint.

JAE discussion
as i said they might of let you if you turned up on the sunday, they are not completely draconian, had you turned up on the saturday then yes you would have to park in the car park and leave by 10, but turning up on the sunday when most people are leaving, i cant see why they would have a problem considering everyone has to be packed and gone by 4pm.

when you get there, if you are paying for the weekend, you do not have to park your car in the carpark at night, you leave it on the stand where you want to park it as long as its on our plot. you then go set your tent up and off you go, when you get your ticket you have a wrist band that you put on, that lets you drive out to go places like tescos or McDonalds and drive back in with the arm band on your arm, as long as you have a jap vehicle you can enter JAE at the main gate and park on the stand all weekend If you pay for a full weekend pass. If you have a £10 day ticket, you are only allowed to enter between 8am and you have to leave by 10pm, you can not park your car on the stand and have to leave it in the secure carpark and walk in, they have over 2 to 4k cars go to JAE, and having to go around at night to make sure people who only paid for a day pass leave on time would be a logistical nightmare and people would kick up a stink if they had paid £25 / £30 and someone paid £10 and snuck in, if you are only turning up for Sunday, im sure they will let you drive in and park on the stand as they close at 4pm and all the JAE events are held on the Saturday so its not like you will be gaining an advantage.

reason is, if you buy a day ticket and drive in, its pretty much impossible to go around everyone's stand to get the cars removed and hard to police, you will get people paying £10 for the day, parking their car on the stand and just staying for the whole weekend. Those going sat to sun will be buying a weekend pass at either £30 on the gate or £25 for the weekend, there is only 2 types of ticket available Single day, or whole weekend, the different prices reflect Advanced ticket sale, on the gate or single day. the weekend pass (regardless of if paid 25 or 30) will allow them to park on the stand. Hope that helps.

What size tyres?
just dug out the paper work of when my alloys were first brought, showing 8.5j front and 9.5j rear.

just blown the gearbox :@
I had a 406 exec 2litre turbo, rare as hell, loved that car, got me from wellingborough to the isle of skye on one tank of fuel, 677 miles or so. fantastic car and for a saloon it was pretty quick. But the biggest problem was insurance, i was paying £800 a year on it, im paying 340 on my zed. a large difference, yes the pug did 30mpg round town and 35 to 37 on a cruise, but i love driving my zed lol
-
This is what i'm playing with today
bud your not the only one, everyone was the same when i said i pulled away from one in my zed, i got ripped into because everyone expected it to beat the zed with out much fuss, and i have to admit i did too when the race was on (private road not public)

What size tyres?
thats what im running on mine matey, 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 rears, though ive got slight stretch on the rear, but i dont know what J my wheels are lol

This is what i'm playing with today
well i live 6miles from santa pod *cough* though i no longer have my cherry red zed and my current one is still only producing 7psi which is safety boost but with no error codes, just never got to the bottom of it as i drive like a grandad half the time anyway lol

This is what i'm playing with today
dont think the v10 had been released at that point so was defo a v8 lol (just checked it was released at that point, but defo not one) Not going to deny they are a really nice car and i do love the look and im jealous that you are driving around in it lol
-
This is what i'm playing with today
on paper it should beat the zed, but in real world it struggled against mine (the cherry red one) bit like the veyron vs the f1, on paper the veyron should of pulled away from the McLaren off the blocks (veyron 0 - 60 2.8 vs mclaren f1 0 - 60 in 3.2), but it didn't, it took until the veyrons turbos kicked in before it caught up.

I have a Zonda!
i had in no particular order Thats a nice - Skyline Supra Celica? MR2??? Lambo (best one i think lol) Ferrari wtf is it? and the one the other day was........ Honda prelude? (i gave him directions to spec savers lol)

just blown the gearbox :@
bud i know what your on about, having had 5 zeds, (2 breakers) 3 cars that needed sorting out (one not massively lol) It does wear you down eventually until you get back in it and start driving it again then fall in love with it, whats the problem with the reason you need a cheaper run around? i use mine as a daily driver at the moment, its not too bad.

Spoiler or no spoiler?
np matey, if you defiantly really absolutely must stick a spoiler on the back and dont like the perspex strip, get the 89spec looks so sexy with that on.
-
Spoiler or no spoiler?
Bare in mind this was test fitting thats why there are baby wipes under the legs as it still had some sealant on that was trying to transfer its self to my paintwork and muck it up. Looks better in the flesh than what the photos show, and yes i was the same, wasnt till LeoE popped his zed around mine with the 99spec spoiler on that i started to like them. But i do like the 89spec, just dont think i want to lose my black strip to fit it lol

just blown the gearbox :@
personally for a gearbox i think you would be mad to break it, would take about a 4 hours to change it with tea breaks, then she would be up and running again. a zed with a knackered gearbox, with wide arch kit, think you would be looking roughly around 2k on ebay if someone was interested in breaking it. fixed it tax and test, as long as there are no major issues, think you could be asking for around 5 to 6k on a sale, summer is coming as well so things on selling car front with a T roof should pick up again as the hotter weather starts approaching. and if the last couple of years are anything to go by we will have a hot spell in march.

Spoiler or no spoiler?
that is indeed the 99spec, and it looks fantastic in the flesh with it on, dont get me wrong i kinda got used to not having one, but soon as the 99spec is repaired and sprayed black, its getting mounted. (got cracks in it :( )

just blown the gearbox :@
