stupid question time, have you had the front bumper off and the wings to assess the damage under it, it actually looks repairable to be perfectly honest with you, new wings, new bonnet, new front bumper, replacement lights, if there isnt much under lying damage i thing a once over respray and that could be saved. would be a shame to lose it to the scrappers :(

naa, should of been more specific, passenger side below the manifold was a bit hit and miss, could of undone the wrong bolt and had a engine mount loose or something :lol:

bolt was sealed with thread lock, but shifted eventually, i was lucky my A/C compressor wasn't there other wise it would of been a right pig to get to.

Sweet thanks for that Jaikai thought it might be that from looking at my knackered engine in the garage, she has nice fresh coolant and deminarlised water in her, also has had a good flush through so all the crap is out of her, god my car is strange I only did it as she started gaining higher temps at idle, she's been sat now idling for 30 mins and hasnt gone 1 degree over 81 now, amazing what a flush and new coolant can do :)

Heard the engine has a coolent drain plug somewhere I'm about to give my car a nice new fresh set of coolant and would like to empty the block so any help as soon as possible would be most appreciated

I think John understands this better than any one and the reasons he gave on Facebook do justify it, this thread was for people attending not a place for discussion of what's changed and if we like it, not every one agrees but it's obvious the majority do, the 300 is only being represented by one car at pressent so I see no reason why we are even having this discussion, after all we are not going to change johns mind on this, it got moved so more people could enjoy the week end, not only the show and shine entrants but also the rest of the people attending the event who will now get a chance to see the cars that won, considering the amount of people that leave on the Sunday at the first light of day John wanted to offer more incentive to get people there on the Friday and I for one welcome the change

Not sure why you are getting so animated about it, it is currently march, JAE isnt until September, i think that's plenty of time. John has said in the reps meet that he has spoken closely with those who enter show and shine and the consensus was to move it to the Friday, not everyone wants to leave their pride and joy unlocked and walk away from it and i too can understand that reasoning, if those who enter show and shine want it moved so they can then concentrate on doing the fun things on Saturday with out having to worry about the safety of there cars, can you blame them?

will never please everyone, its either a few people cant enter as they cant make it for friday, even though S&S will be run until night fall on the Friday, so should give plenty of time for the majority of people to enter, or everyone in show and shine cant enter any of the events on the Saturday. so a few will lose out over everyone loosing out from show n shine. i can see why they changed it to how they did. makes more sense even if some people may loose out due to the change.

when looking at the car its a bit "whaaa?" but when you have that diagram handy its a piece of cake, just annoying when trying to figure out the best place to route the vac hoses.

to be honest no one raised concerns over it and everyone was quite happy about it, john said they have given plenty of warning about this so people can book the necessary days off. It was moved so those who enter show and shine (from feed back from the entrants) can then enjoy the events on the Saturday, with show and shine taking up most of the day they don't get to enjoy what is on offer. i have already PM'ed Jason to give him plenty of notice about it so the beast can get there on the Thursday to start prepping for the show. it also got moved so those in the show an shine wishing to do the tunnel run can do so.

thats how ive done it, though i do not have the egr valve, the prvr solenoids or the avi solenoid or carbon canister, so mine is basically the same set up as this diagram though i also do not have my boost sensor installed either as it didnt work to start with. not sure if that has any effect or not, i also followed jefftt's recommendation of leaving the standard boost solenoids in place and plugged in and just linked the pipes that go to the throttle body pipes to the boost controller solenoid.

What i hate, is when i sold my very first item, it was a graphics card, 2 weeks went past after sending it, only for them to open a dispute saying it had corrupt graphics, which i new was a load of *****cks as i had tested the thing for 4 weeks prior to putting it up for sale, in fact i had to remove it from my PC and actually go back to using my normal one so i could ship it. Anyway, a few exchanges later, i gave them a full refund and got the card back. damn thing is still in my PC working perfectly, even when running top end games like battlefield 3, crysis 2, mass effect 3, skyrim, still yet to see this graphics corruption that they mentioned. ass hats. i refuse to sell anything else on there now due to the seller protection rules, with the very nature of a graphics card, had it been returned and showing corruption they could of very well over clocked it and borked it them selves considering it took them 2 weeks to even say or do anything. But yeah, i hate what you listed too, what i hate more is the same seller sticking 15 of the same item up, all with different prices with in a few quid of each other.

have you done all the deletes like i have? if not going to be a bit harder for you, mine has all the deletes so easier to do it, just a pain in the ass with routing the tubing so it looks nice.

if the defuser was blended into the bumper, that would look fantastic to be honest.

id say that tyre has been driven on while flat, that's the only way to damage the tyre wall like that enough for it to bulge in 3 separate locations and that bad.

Nothing stopping them parking with us bud, we might be a 300zx club, but they would be more than welcome if they have no one to park with.
