  1. FWIW I bought these from ebay, (great service as well) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/90-96-NISSAN-300ZX-COIL-PACK-INJECTOR-CONNECTOR-12-PACK-/260797616784?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cb8bfd290 should help with tucking the wires under the plenumn by adding the connector/s with the extra bit of wiring on them hth
  2. Radio/tuner & seperate CD player below, nothing special I'm afraid. I have my original units still in the garage if you want any photos?
  3. Thanks Maz, that makes sense. H
  4. Just cleaning up the replacement rail that has my Nismo injectors in it, when I removed the covers over the top of the injectors 4 had an extra metal shim/washer (see below) and 2 had the black plastic that seats into the cap. I haven't used these before but I have been told that they have been flow tested but I don't want to put them in after the plenum pull and then find out they might not work. I suppose the obvious thing to do would be to use the injector caps that are currently working fine with my standard injectors, but I'm curious now as to what these little bu$$ers do?

must get something sorted before holidays begin
  6. Welcome, be sure to post up pics once you get the car!
  7. Stu, I had a similar dilemma, last year. The car had done under 10k since it's last cam belt change, but was due a new one anyway due to the years. I had Silverbullet change it in the end along with a service etc.. as I wasn't prepared to take the risk. Although I had the standard photos from zedworld when it was last changed at the end of the day it's only a toothed rubber belt and the cost for a belt change isn't as bad as a good new engine. Difficult decision as no one want to waste money these days
  8. imo one of the first tools you should buy if you don't already have one when you buy a zed :hammer:
  9. Haven't used them personally Paul, but I know that Lepson have a very good reputation, I wouldn't hesitate to use them and the finish will be way better than a rattle can or these vans that do them at your home etc.. H
  10. They have listed some more, just ordered mine :thumbup1:
  11. Why take a picture of any car you are trying to sell with the this background ffs!! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?i=2850385&noPics=9&imgsrv=1&current=6&make=NISSAN&model=300ZX
  12. Hi Ian, so is your supposed to have a harsher setting on the front than the rear then?
  13. lol classic, what about your suspension thought Daffy, although yours is a SWB still interested to know
  14. Been tinkering with the adjustment on my Meister R's. What do you guys run? mine is currently on halfway on both front and rear. I seem to remember that you are supposed to have different settings for front rear? Waiting to be surprised by Daffys reply:shifty: thanks
  15. argh decisions decisions, was going to ditch it...... now not so sure. The rad cap does read 1.3 bar, but not so sure I want to risk a blown HG, so guess I will look at remounting it properly so the IC doesn't push it into the path of the tyre, lol.
  16. So as I'm running a "Koyo" style rad from DTA, are you saying the tank can go?
  17. Cheers everybody, look like I'll be keeping it, .............or keep an eye on my temp gauge and carrier large amounts of water with me :whistling:
  18. Guys, any reason why I cannot leave off the expansion tank? I have already buggered up my original one, and now thanks to Vods have a replacement. But due to the size of the new IC's it's still a pig to get into the space without it fouling on the tyre.
  19. Excellent work, there Graham. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.
  20. Well done, looks like you have put in plenty of time/effort in keeping the car on the road. Now enjoy driving it :clap:
  21. thanks that's great news
  22. Right fitted some larger IC's a while ago and the standard washer bottle does not fit. I have fitted a smaller one to go in its place but it only has 1 pump for the front screen wash/wipe. Question is as my car still has the rear wiper does the water/washer not working mean it will fail it's MOT? thanks
