a small flat bladed screwdriver to lever the corner out of the wire retainer then another screwdriver to push it back, if you have a magnetic pickup on a telescopic pole that would help loads if you drop one.

They are a pita, without doubt. They should make a tool for the job imo like a 2 small flat bladed driver almost like a fork without the middle prong lol.

ok i did that with one next to the oil filler but it broke the little clip like thing in the middle that retails the clip in plate ...

 

as the other plugs u push the center and it spreys out the side to clear the step clip

They get brittle with age and snap very easily.

imo one of the first tools you should buy if you don't already have one when you buy a zed :hammer:

You only need to open the clip by a few mill, to clear the side lugs. If you pull the clip ends too far you can either break the centre lug or (ping) lose the clip :biggrin:
