They didn't make a V8 Tuscan only SP6 4.0 & Redrose :blushing: Tuscans are well known in TVR circles as a bit unpredictable handling wise, althogh fitting Nitrons or alike will transfrom the car. Scariest car to drive in the wet, plenty of respect given in the dry as well, as so many of the Cerb and Tuscans require a first class setup on the suspension & geo or they will bite back and throw you in a ditch. Having had the car corner weighted etc it handeld like a dream and would give many more modern sport cars a good run around the twisty's! Regret the day I sold the Cerb.. classic V8 coupe with striking looks and a unique pedigree.... and know the don't break down. When the came out they had Ferrari performance while costing half as much 50k. But the 3/4/5 owners didn't expect there 15k performace to car to cost nearly as much to run as say a Porsche or Ferrari and slowly like most performance car develop expensive and reliability problems. So if looked after "properly" and serviced by the book TVR can be a reliable every day car. YOu just need to service by the book and fix any niggle ASAP before it turns into major/expensive problem.
  6. cheerz, need to order some of these
  7. Went with HTC as the iPhone 4 BT is rubbish when it comes to connecting to third party head units, so couldn't be doing with having a headset in the car, something to do with RASP technology? Anyway after my daughter managed to dunk her HTC twice in water, in as many months and the only thing we replaced was the battery. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the build quality. Remember weren't HTC were building high end business phones long before Apple came out with the iPhone?
  8. shame they haven't got any high res pictures on the Lambo website http://www.aventador.com/index-eng.html#eng

  12. Ok so admit that I have negelected the Z lately and have started her up for over 8 weeks. Tried to fire her up this morning and nothing apart from what sounded like the injectors ticking/firing. Could it just be the batterys gone flat, (on charge now anyway) or is it something else?
  13. Keep an eye out on ebay, they do come up secondhand for a lot less. Thats where I got mine from.

  15. Happy Birthday, have a good one!!
  16. defo a budget tyre my friend:lol:
  17. Good article, when I had my TVR guys from the forum were always saying they had warped disc's, many cured the problem from doing the "repeated high speed stops". Obvioulsy bedding them in correctly is paramount to stop this happening in the first place. I have always done this to my new brakes when fitted and never had a problem.
  18. Good find, let me know if you require any pics.
  19. more than happy to have alook at ,mine tomorrow and give info/pics
  20. Show foam best way of removing surface grit etc. Never use a sponge! They keep the grit in their surface which transfers scratches onto your paint Always use a cleaning mitt and definately the two bucket method if you want to keep the "cob web" scratches from you paint finish. bucket 1 = use for rinsing your mitt bucket 2 = clean soapy water be warned it can become addictive For more excellent info. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4637
