  1. Had a 54 plate RS6 before the Zed and trust me the Zed would lose big time I'm afraid. Seriously fast motors, plus massive grip with being 4x4.
  2. Hey Daffy, looking good there. You should consider a job as a carpenter mate! Looking forward to seeing the finished job.
  3. Just saw this myself on PH, made me wince a couple of times especially when he seemed so close to the sides of the cars in the heavy traffic. Absolute nutter!
  4. Can't make this one I'm afraid Andy. See you tomorrow though :-)
  5. Thats some work of art! An inspiration to all Zed owners
  6. Welcome, you'll find us all a friendly bunch :cool3: Like Stu said if you want anyone to come and look at any prospective Zeds just shout.
  7. Have a couple of TB in the garage will go and check in while
  8. Hoping the repair won't be to much, trouble is with most red cars this age the pigment has faded and it's already had an extra coat of paint over 90% of the car when the w/arch kit was fitted, which is a very slightly differnet shade from the original paint. Looking at lots of options (and quotes) over the coming weeks. lol grp = fibre glass :blushing:
  9. Colour was the same as the one on here bud, cheers. Happened on the "Boardbridge Heath r/bout http://www.citroen.co.uk/new-cars/car-range/citroen-c4-picasso/#/configurator/1C58AF/?engines=9W&features=0P%230%230PZ90RFE&grades=00000170&transmission=R&color=0M%231%230MM00N4Y&version=1C58AFP9WR70A070
  10. What a crap ending to a $hit weekend! On my home today. after drving down to my Mums after my uncle passed away suddenly this morning. Coming off a roundabout (in the inside lane) when the Citroen Pic-ar$e h*ole in the outside lane decided that they would continue round the rounabout and into the rear side of the zed! looked in my rear view mirror and the car carried on and looked like he was going to the garage just off the r/bout. Sped down the carriage way to do a U-turn and back to the garage where I was hoping to find the Citroen. No such luck he'd gone. Charged off down 1 of the 2 exits he could have gone down but no joy. Reported it to the Police but it's unlikley any more will come of it. The Picarso was the new shape one as well so can't believe they didn't stop. :taz: Just as well reallly as I was :gun_bandana: :cursing: Needs a bit more than T-cut lol and has split the rear arch from the rear centre panel. Guess the fact that it's a Paul Bailey GRP kit and not fibre glass one has meant it didn't split and crack more than it has. Anyoney in the Crawley/horsahm area that see's a Met/Blue Picarso with red stripe on the front offside PM the reg please  Could be a big drink in it for you,
  11. NIck just listened and on the outside vid, the ticking noise seems to be louder when you have the camera at the rear bulkhead first 5-20 secs. Have you tried the long screwdriver trick against various parts of the block etc to try and pin point the area more accuratley? Might be worth a try? Sorry can't be of more help. It would annoy the hell out of me aswell if it was my car :gun_bandana:
  12. Is yor Zenon bumper the same as the last pic in my profile, if so then I was told by Luke that his exhaust systems that he sells are the only ones that will fit "off the self" on this style of bumper. So it looks like you may have some "tinkering" to do. FYI the pipes that poke out of my valance are sleeve's that are clamped on to the rest of the rear system, so easy to remove when in need of a polish
  13. cheers John, going to have another look at everything tomorrow AGAIN! might pop down sometime if that's ok?
  14. Guys, having a nightmare of a time bleeding my sons brakes on his Pug 106. Initially just bleed them as paart of a service when he bought the car some months ago. After managing to shear off 1 bleed nipple, changed the master cylinder they last about 2-3 weeks and then go to the floor again. I need to replace a bleed nipple at the rear as it's now pretty much fubar'd. Although it not leaking there! I haven't found any leaks in the system all the slave's are good. Each time I bleed them I only get a small amount of air out, I know that it only takes a small but I'm buggered if I can found out where it's getting in. The only item I haven't replaced is the brake servo (black circular jobbie on bulkhead) Is there anything else anyone could recommend as after 3 attempts I'm getting a bit frustrated and he's off to Uni and I can't have him using the car in it's present state. cheers H
  15. Totally agree with this a good (after market) temp gauge is a must for any performance car. Most people would be surprised how long it takes the oil to reach a good running temp. Never go by the water temp.
  16. What fuel warning light? Never seen it, as others have said I really don't like letting it getting that low because of the crap that's probably in there after 16 years.
  17. Agree with this although my car has an extensive service file, I couldn't find any reference to the tensioners being done, so while the belt is going to be replaced although only done 8k miles ago (4yrs ago) the tensioners are being replaced as if they haven't been done in the last 16 years I am sure they will need doing now.
  18. If you look in the traders section on here Mike @ MJP will also be able to sort out this kit for you, at a competitive price as well.
  19. Nice looking zed, welcome:duffer:
