  4. Lol, What a flakey lot you are! Andy I'd be happy to pop over this Sunday mate. I 'll try and get out of bed a bit earlier this time aswell. I'll bring some rubber gloves that don't split as well! ( all sorts of images spring to mind now, :scared: see what you're all missing by not helping Andy)
  5. Dave Pm'd you re-down pipes.
  6. There are a few that come up on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Apexi-AVC-R-Boost-Controller-Subaru-/290460483115?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43a0cb3e2b Depends how long you want to wait. FWIW the silver unit tend to go for £200+, the black units £260+ just make sure that all the bit and bobs are with it as well. As for fitting I've still got that to do :hammer:
  7. Have a look here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?i=1897932&noPics=3&imgsrv=1&current=3&make=NISSAN&model=300ZX Twins! on what looks like a standard rear valance. My exhaust is fairly quiet, (although I will be de-catting soon :gun_bandana:) It's the standard one from Z Centre. hth
  8. Used to live that way, and only 40 miles from me now. If there was someone that close to me I'd be like a shot!
  9. Can be done with the plenum on, but I would do the PCV valves at the same time with the plenum off
  10. Hi, I have split rims as well and am considering taking them apart over the winter to refurb. Is there a specific way of tightening down the connecting bolts to the wheel centre so that the rim runs true to the wheel centre?
  11. Steve take a look at the last picture in "my rides" is that what you're after?
  12. When they do the cambelt are they also replacing the pulleys? maybe worth while if you're not sure if they ever been replaced, not cheap though @ £50 ish pounds each.
  13. yep DTA excellent quality and service
  14. Just remove 1 item at a time if you're worried. You can also takes pictures before you start so you have a reference for when you get to put it so you'll know excatly what went where. Once you have taken off a couple of bits and cleaned and polished them you will soon have the bug

  19. is there a specific size need for the nut/s under the plenum?
  20. Had this problem a while ago on my sons car. I got a length of steel pipe slightly larger dia. than the locking wheel nut. Then welded the pipe (from hte inside to the nut, I had already drilled a large hole in the other end of the pipe and put a breaker in the hole then just undo using breaker bar simples! Repeat and continue on all the remaining nuts, just cutting off the old fecked wheel nut welded to the bar. hth
  21. Try any good local signmaker/digi printer they should be able to "wrap" your car in matt black vinyl, probaly cheaper than a cheap re spray!
  22. Yep defo not as fast as the V8 RS's, althought you could spend a few ££££'s and easliy get to 500bhp and still be quids in on the price of the Audi's, plus you won't have the dodgey hydraulic suspension system on the RS4/6's. Miss my RS6 Plus but don't miss the regular visits to the dealer!
  23. Not sure about this Guess he had his reasons though  http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/largepic.asp?i=1818888&noPics=9&make=NISSAN&model=300ZX&imgsrv=1&current=3
