  1. yeah, they did do them in Oz... but only the NA... all the Oz tt's are Jap imports (i.e. not brought in by Nissan). I was going to put that bit in the "why did you get a Z", back in Oz, I had older ones and wanted a 300zx when they first came out... but too expensive and they weren't the turbo ones... I almost bought a yellow convertible but chickened out at the last minute... lol...
  2. spot on advice.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=156
  3. lol... check the FAQ storage area , electrical section.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117007&referrerid=16305
  4. OK, more after the shipping cost of one really.... I've got one that I had to replace due to the synchro from 4th to 5th. so now I want to offer it for auction on ebay but not sure what to put as a delivery cost.. obviously happy to have it collected... so I need either the weight, so I can get an estimate from the couriers or an idea of cost if anyone has shipped one. cheers.
  5. I agree with Dill... I did however have a similar problem with mine.... but I have HID's and one of the fuses and Ballasts had blown and it did the same think .... full beams came on... once I replaced the blown fuse and ballast it was fine.... I also installed a relay for the HID's as they do draw more power and since I did the high beam mod to keep the low beams on at the same time I just wanted to ensure it didn't happen again... (I know people say it isn't needed)...
  6. LOL... that's twice now vods.... :)
  7. ???.. only a paid subscription will expire... you're not paid.. you are only resisted... that won't.
  8. Also check the main fuse box (engine bay) for corrosion and both headlight fuses are OK. what type of bulbs are you using?
  9. mate... in the FAO storage area... you really need to learn now to search!! lol... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=130345&referrerid=16305
  10. I think he said console side not passengers side.... but same thing, the matrix can leak there... i agree fix rather than mess about...
  11. Mmm, I've seen plenty of people half as smart as that using them and phone.... :D
  12. could it be the rubber boot for the gear stick ?.... I know that if the boot is loose on my manual then you can hear a lot of road/gearbox noise... not sure if the auto is the same.
  13. Ditto !!!!!
  14. agreed.... 7 Billion people... looks like we'll be out of room all too soon....
  15. LOL... you guys are funny.... it's like the turtle on the back of a turtle ... etc.... (extract from Wiki)... A well-known scientist (some say it was Bertrand Russell) once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the center of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy. At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: "What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise." The scientist gave a superior smile before replying, "What is the tortoise standing on?" "You're very clever, young man, very clever," said the old lady. "But it's turtles all the way down!" so you say we had to come from somewhere.... but where did the first humans come from? I think you'd be better off believing in God... LOL... :D
  16. LOL... the question wasn't what should he do, or what have you done... it was can I keep the viscus fan with an alloy rad... :) He really only wanted to know if it will still fit.... but on your point anyway... it has been recommended to me that it's better to keep the viscus fan. i would guess that there are electric fans out there that will do the job.... BUT it would require checking that they are up to the job and I assume the good ones aren't cheap.
  17. Mmmm i think its more about the injectors and other additions... induction exhaust..etc... I'd go with an off the shelf from Dixon.... give him all your specs and see what he says... you can get it mapped later, if you feel it still needs it.
  18. I'm not 100% on this but I think it depends a lot on just how much has been changed on the car.. As far am I'm aware you can get a stage one or two chip off the shelf and it will be fine... i guess if you've gone further than that you should really have it mapped.... but again depends on what king of power you want out of it...
  19. Why don't we just have a referendum on the public sector pay and pensions issue.... I'd be happy to go with what the majority think!!! Now that would be democracy!!! :D
  20. Hey... same from me... hope you have a big one!!!!!:happybday::pint::dance::punk:
