  3. Hi, Firstly, you have my deepest empathy…….. My wife also has a horse, which she has owned now for over 6 year. It has been through a number of problems (like lost of horses do) and been close to being put down once. I would estimate that she has been able to ride it for about half the time she has owned it (yes, and she dose see it as part of the family… and I shouldn’t call her it). Now I don’t know you or your wife well enough to really comment on what you should do but from my personal experiences I would say: Would I be correct in saying that you are both are very deep into your individual hobbies, i.e. you into your Z, with both time and money and your wife into her horse in the same way? Time apart in a relationship is a good thing but too much isn’t, both of you need (healthy) attention from the other… Now if one person in the relationship has a major problem (as it’s obvious she has) then you both do and unfortunately that will also mean a pause in your hobby to help her fix her’s. If you can show her that you are sharing her grief and helping in a resolution (even if it’s not exactly the one she wants) it may help her in coming to terms with it…. Unfortunately there is no time limit on these things….. As it’s already been mentioned a lame house doesn’t mean a dead horse, it would still make an excellent companion for another horse and many people would be happy to have it as that. So in my opinion, love and compassion are a massive help in any problem…. Of course this is only my opinion…. The best of luck to both of you.
  4. LOL... bit of a problem, the flasher unit didn't work at all when I put LED's all round... got the old unit back in and flashing like a strobe light...lol.... have sent the unit back for replacement... wont be able to try again until next weekend....
  5. OK, will do... :) cheers, Gerry.
  6. got the 501's already but won't be able to check until I get back home and re-fit the LED module on Saturday.... ho hum..... will post to confrim..... cheers.
  7. Mmmm, changed the 4 main ones but haven't checked the little side repeaters to see what they are.... I'll try your suggestion....... nice if we could get someone else to confrim.... cheers
  8. Ah, yes but I thought that is what these are supposed to do..... http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/LED-Flasher-Unit-3-and-4-Pin.html this is the same thing I did on my supra and it worked fine...
  9. Hi, I’ve looked but can’t seem to find anything related…. I have a Jap import and want to use LED’s in the indicators, I bought a standard LED indicator module (upgrade) but when I installed it… nothing at all…. I put the old unit back in and it works (although too fast). I’ve spoken to the shop where I bought it and they are happy to send me a replacement (they can't tell me if it will work on the car). So should a standard unit work? Cheers…

  16. Hi, My name is Gerry and I've just bought Leigh_L 's old car (nice motor, thanks Leigh). I only recently managed to crawl over the threshold of a half a century and decided that it was time to get back into Z's (Oh aside from the fact that my supra needed too much work to keep it on the road...lol). this is my fourth Z but my first 300, I owned 2 240's and one 260 back in OZ. cheers.
