yeah, agreed.... but has anyone used this stuff..... can or can't testify to the rather large claims on the site and those TV add channels? I live in Devon but work in Cardiff and the car gets dirty up an down the motorway..... easy to clean when I'm home but don't exactly have the facilities when working. I thought it could be one of those use only when convenient things... :)

Not sure about the legality but mine when though the MOT no prob painted sliver. I'd say (personal opinion only) as long as it didn't affect the beam patter it is OK.

putting the clips back on and the surrounding black metal strips, they help to hold the bottom part together (with the rubber in).

I think it can be done .... but i would advise against it, you just wont get the finish and heating the unit in situ will be a nightmare, you won't be able to loosen and re-do the black trims that hold the rubber on... nightmare.... take them out... if you need the car just put the spare set in (temp) and do it on yours....

so your chassis number should be in here somewhere.... year of manufacture 1989 CZ32 500001 to 502521 1990 CZ32 502522 to 504382 1991 CZ32 504383 to 405425 so the lower the number the earlyer in the year....

This is how I did mine….. This is my spare set… suppose I could part with them but you’d have to send me your old set back when you replace them. You have to take the centre section off and take the pods off. When the modded ones are on the centre section goes back in but you have to angle it so that the new bulb holders fit in first….

Hey Craig, just did mine...... there is a guide on how to fix them but not sure about the upgrade.... the 99 style inserts don't give a perfect fit (well not the ones I used anyway), you get a little gap right down the front edge (hard to unless you stand right over them once their in the car). so firstly I'd advise making sure you have some way to conceal the gap (filler, silicone, cork or something). i also put the old chromed rings back on the lens.... again i used a dab of silicone to hold it in place... I then used a dab of silicone in a couple of places to stop movement rattling. If you go to a car windscreen fitting place they will sell you some of the same stuff that holds it together (that way you can get them back apart if you want or need to).

had to do the mod on mine... added another two bulb holders at the top of the housing... result is great but a bit of work involved....

LOL... first sighting since I got the Z..... (4 months) about 7:30 pm.... Sliver one at junction 23, then 10 minutes later a white one at Taunton junction 25... waved at both... ..... both going north, I was on the southbound carriageway....
