  1. no I refuse to be a part of this......
  2. STD wheels? UK or Jap?... backs, better go look... :)
  3. no need... I know that on the three pairs I’ve got/had there are two screws holding the insert in at the bottom front.. you can just see the lugs on your pics... so they must have been pulled apart beforehand. anyway your method is much easier than taking the lights out. :)
  4. how did you get the insert black? I can't see how to take that out with lights in place as the two little screws at the front are a right pain...
  5. LOL... easy to miss the screws, even if you've done it before, there is a glue that will fix cracks in perspex but it cost about a tenner (ebay) however it will take a lot of work to wet and dry around the crack inside and out to get it to look good again (as the glue makes a mess). I'd say keep the damaged one for spares , get a replacement and wait for summer when the adhesive is softer (that is if you really can't use the oven).
  6. Does that mean that you can get us cheap stuff as well??? :D
  7. Mine is silver and that is the colour I wanted.... However.... when i was looking for a Z, I saw a white one with full body kit, it had a slight pearl effect... now that was stunning!!!! almost changed my mind as to what colour to get... lol... good luck and I hope it turns out great.
  8. If you really think it's possible, I'd try and find the replacement part form Nissan first before damaging the existing one..... but good luck with that.... i can't see a part number for it on the catalog.... http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/el_z32/1993_8/type_1/body_electrical/rear_combination_lamp_licence_plate_lamp_and_high_mounting_stop_lamp/illustration_2/
  9. Hi, no you can't (as far as I know remove the reflector), I've done a few of these light and never even attempted to remove it (as above) factory glued in place, the screw holds the whole face on not the reflector.... the reflector covers the screw log on the lens... you could try sanding the raised lettering off and then polishing it....
  10. here you go.... from the parts list.... for a mid year 91... http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/el_z32/1991_7/type_1/exhaust_and_cooling/exhaust_tube_and_muffler/

  12. LOL.. good... but I fear HID's will be a target very soon.... the rest is a bit speculative.. I think we'd be naive to say "scaremongering"... best to nip these thing in the bud... i can see private industry being hit financially if these regurgitation come in... but as you point out, they haven't made clear and they don't indicate on what year cars this will take effect. or how even to enforce some of the prosed ideas.
  13. yeah.... if the clips are old and crap.. you can replace them with better ones (in situ)... i.e. open them up , fit over hose, move the old ones off the end and put the new ones in their place. a bitch of a job ... I did mine but the leak started again... had to replace the hose... ouch.. not a nice job at all (without the plume off).... it took me a bout 3/4 of an hours.. really fiddly as it difficult to get too but one done really worth it.... I also used decent clips that have nut and bolt instead of those crap ones that just have a threaded metal tape and screw... useless, if you over tighten they are gone!!!
  14. but if you follow the link on the "webpage" to the dft vosa news letter it looks a little more like something to worry about!!! the article is about two thirds down... http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/repository/MoT%20-%20Issue%2048%20-%20Oct%202010.pdf
  15. has anyone see this? http://wrecks2riches.co.uk/2010/10/2011-changes-to-mot/ LOL... sorry if it's a re-post.... :tt2:

  17. LOL.... that says it just right.....
  18. type extracts from the Quran, Kuran, Koran, Qur’ān or Coran in a search engin..... you can see why they are that way..... personally that religion is not for me!!!!
  19. agreed.... as impressive as that looks..... he is sad..... I have to admit that if you had to race the card via a monitor linked to a camera on the car it would be cool then... LOL...
