  1. also consider the problem that there is no way (I can think of) to screw anything down as you can hardly get your hand there let alone a screwdriver...
  2. yeah to post pics you need to use photobucket or any other photo hosting site... also as far as I'm aware they do mount them on that side, I've seen pics form the US with the factory sender unit beside the oil filter. if there is a bolt there you could take it out and have a look the thread size and type are correct.
  3. Yeah, i've seen one before.... same one as above... Oz 300zx forum... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=294362 and pics from a show it was at... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/532/25032010115.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/411/25032010114.jpg/
  4. LOL... not sure what kind of fun you can have with this??? and i can't really see the old bill thinking that its funny.... but good luck anyway...
  5. LOL.. not exactly the kind of "spotted" I was hoping for.. :) lucky for me the back tyre wend down kind of slow.... so not a total drama, other than all the people I'd overtaken flying by me.... Yeah, had a 3/4 hour wait for the AA, I usually get home about 08:30.... last night it was nearly 11:00 pm.... 50 mph all the way from there to Torquay on a space saver spare... how boring and embarrassing!!! oh well, a new set of tyres tomorrow.... (just ordered them).
  6. lol... wish I had the money to spare.... every month takes me to the edge of my overdraft...
  7. LOL.. I wonder how much trouble you'll be in when you get pulled over with that mod???
  8. My sister and her family live in Auckland, I've visited about 4 times.... I love NZ, great place... just like a young Britain... heaps less people and better weather... yes I miss it!!!! lol...
  9. looks good... oh and thanks for the pic of NZ in summer... it's $%&* winter here... I don't like the cold...lol...
  10. agree... clean the connector first and see if that makes any difference... if not see if you can borrow a maf to test it's the culprit... or you might be lucky and get on in the for sale section...
  11. this any good... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=151245&referrerid=16305
  12. LOL... factory....!! the MOT rule says about changing the brightness and colour... so must be from STD... if you remove the factory ones and put tinted you take the risk... :)
  13. Agreed... I would be worried about the tinted ones with the new MOT rules...
  14. LOL.... lucky fish...
  15. or get this one.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300645989121?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_2720wt_1325
  16. So anyone with tinted/smoked indicators, sidelights, fogs or tail lights will have a problem here..... there must be a load of parts manufactures out there that are furious about this....
  17. gutted for you.... but glad you're not hurt..
  18. yeah, sorry to hear your bad news.... particularly with the other issues.... I always get a bit down with the car at this time of year... I also don't have anywhere undercover to work on it and even if I do get some sort of rain shelter its still too F'n cold to piss around in bad light with cold car parts... LOL... I do stuff if I have to but I can't say i enjoy it lad as much as in summer... However winter is a good time to work out what needs doing, what is possible, what order to do it and find the best price for it.... i think I'm going to wash her this weekend (don't blame me if it rains) and that might make me feel a little better about her.... I think I can handle a bit of detailing... LOL... all the best...
  19. why so high... I thought mine was bad at just over £500.... (I'm also over 50) mine is a jap import and a daily drive so high mileage. I know most of the guys on here get decent prices on insurance because they have limited mileage... and classic insurance...
  20. Ah yes, the famous wind powered model.... if i remember correctly that just didn't take off!! ... :whistling:
  21. Yes, pulling down your pants... but looks a little different to a having your arse spanked.... does she swallow? and I'm not sure if that is good for the air filter!!!.. :D
