  1. thanks, very good... any chance there is something/one a littler closer to the UK? I'll email them about delivery cost.... cheers..
  2. Hi, Right, I’ve got a KOYO rad on my car and both the (plastic) top plug and bottom drain plug have seen better days. I’ve driven myself to the brink of hair removal (by self extraction) looking ….. Has anyone found or know of a place to get replacement parts for these rads. Or had a similar issue and replaced with suitable alternative parts. The thread on these plugs (or at least) the top one is about 10mm external diameter but is definitely not an M10. The guy at the local nut and bolt specialty store said it looked like a British standard thread, so either BSW or BSP….. Cheers. Ah, forgot to mention that last week I used the contact option on their website but got no reply…
  3. that's the way i always do it.... a bit of messing about but I find a long small head flat head will do it... (and just to be sure, you are unplugging it with the engine off first)...
  4. sounds like you've sorted it to me... :)
  5. Ah... well they are the ones i also replaced.... so not sure if the guys at conceptua can help.... my advice would be to send them a pic in the email so they know exactly what you want...
  6. don't bother, it's not on there.... they don't have a web site (yet) only sell on ebay or by phone... they might have a couple in stock but they're not listed on ebay.. if you want them you will have to call them or i can get my mate to list in ebay...
  7. just saw this.... any good to anyone? (no nothing to do with me) http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3771699.htm
  8. LOL.. no... you could go for replicas... some are very close and much cheaper... depends on how fussy you are... here are some OK ones on ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-89-96-MODIFIED-REAR-BACK-TAIL-LIGHTS-LAMPS-CLEAR-INDICATOR-LENSES-/170828324970?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27c629606a you could get them and then when you have the money get new ones or keep looking for another really good set of moded or second hand 99's..
  9. conceptua-tuning do them (i just did some for my MOT) Technical enquiries Call:01803-850050 or Email info@conceptua-tuning.co.uk i think they might be there now.... if not let me know and I'll speak to them about getting a list on ebay and you can buy though there....
  10. .... in the parts catalog it shows it on the drivers side (only accessible from under the car) towards the back of the engine, near the oil filter. but mine is on the passengers side (near/behind the engine mount)... can't miss it. looks like this: http://www.courtesyparts.com/25070-sensor-oil-pressure-300zx-z32-1990-1996-p-182737.html
  11. do you know how to check that?....
  12. Could it be something to do with the turbo actuator? do you have an EBC... could be an issue with the solenoid... try unplugging them....
  13. LOL.. he said... "not cheap rip off from Birmingham that bends and OS so thin you can read throw it" I love the way the car is off the ground in the second pic.... kind of flying.... defo not everyone's "cup of puke"
  14. for the vac / pressure test... the budget method.... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.89 if you want a better one than that already made post your email address and I'll send you a pic.... :)
  15. I've still got these on my car but they aren't connected.... well the vac lines are but they are unplugged.. http://www.courtesyparts.com/14956v-valve-assy-solenoid-300zx-z32-1990-1996-turbo-p-32099.html?cPath=882_883_915_918& i assume i can remove them............ :)
  16. agreed... and a high ron as well... at least use the 97... my car won't run on normal unleaded... (as i assume with lots others on here)...
  17. agreed, but it could still be a combination of things... as you said it looks like the car needs a lot of attention so you have to keep checking everything and get rid of any/all little issues as well. Conzult isn't the be-all end-end all for your issues, particularly if you have the free version... keep going with the other checks. :) this may help.... (I know it's not your exact problem)... worth a read... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.335
  18. I'm sure someone will reply soon.... it would be helpful if you could list the checks and things you have done so that people don't just tell you to do things again..... by the way i know the exact same feeling about the M7 Supra... lol... loved the car hate the engine... I had three BHG's... juck!!!! lots of threads on here about checking all the connectors you can find... check each of the injectors & coil-packs one at a time, unplug the MAF see if that makes a difference. check the right voltage on the TPS and confirm the correct timing (with a timing light). Do a pressure test on the induction system. what plugs are in it and how old are they, also fuel filter.... that should help to rule out some stuff...
  19. so this is because its still got an auto ECU, is it? if you replace the ecu with a manual one is it then the same as a regular manual or is there still a difference because of cams for an auto engine and do they need any difference in timing?
  20. have you got any test equipment? my mates had a few big tanks back in Oz... the only time they ever had any problems was when they changed too many things and didn't test the water... really not worth the risk... need to be as careful as possible, loosing new fish and money is bad enough but loosing pets is worse... good luck..
  21. LOL.. they must have seen the error and fixed it.... a bet they had a few emails...
  22. along with having the key code you will also need to know what alarm you have so you can get the correct instructions. however the more complex instructions for adding key fobs and changing other functions are not available to the public (I've looked everywhere). So you find yourself having to take it to an alarm specialist anyway and from memory they wanted about £40 to add a fob (5 min job).
  23. well then, I wouldn't bother as it will cost to get an alarm technician to sort it out (if they can).....
