  1. sorry, I can't confirm or deny that... may need input from others for that.......... yes it pops into the Y pipe... and you need an air pump.. at least electric and a gauge would be handy... no need to over pressurise... you could pop a hose. :)
  2. Anthony... I must have walked past the SFS stand about three times... didn't bother going in because I thought you wouldn't be there.... :(
  3. not as far as i know... there was talk somewhere of blowing smoke or wd40 around the engine when idling to see if it gets sucked anywhere but since there are so many pipes and lost of them are hidden I can't see that working... you need to pump air into it and listen for any leaks.. that's the way i found my leak... big hole in one of the turbo pipes.... there is a guide for a rudimentary plug made out of a pop bottle... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.89 i made some plugs a while back and had some smoke matches to use with them... if you want one I can check to see if I have any left.... http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t147/Handymad/DSCF0045.jpg[/img]"]
  4. agreed..... once your stuff is on Facebook it's no longer your property.... i have an external hard drive... (an old one that I put in a housing , cheap as chips) and i back up all my stuff to that as well as to DVD every once in a while. if i loose internet connection or Facebook goes down / bust / gets hacked. i still have all my stuff... so, like mellow says, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just not secure enough for me...
  5. Ah, I wish I could confirm.... don't know for sure, you could be right, but it is a check you could do that is easy... and you would also be checking it anyway (with a timing light). sorry, i can't remember, have you done a pressure test to make sure you don't have any breaks or leaks in the induction & vac lines?
  6. yeah, (from Bristol direction M4) junction 18, left at roundabout A46 bath road.... (about two miles) turn right onto B4040.. becomes B4039 ..right to the door... we got there about 08:10, 20 min in a queue but used the over flow car park directly opposite one of the entrances (beside the track access one).... great day... was with some friends so didn't get a chance to hang at the club stand... but had a great day, some really nice Z'ds from all ages....
  7. agreed... I got sun bun on my face... lol... the 300zx drift car was great.... watched it spark up the rears (right down to the metal... :) ) on one of the sessions ...... nice..... Hey.. and great weather to boot...!!! Oh,and the 240Z track car was amazing... no way that was running a 2.4 na .... :)
  8. LOL... yes... they are a chore..... check the timing with a timing light.... should be 15 off tdc... (heaps of post about this) good luck... if it looks like this not right them yes covers off.... but you might try adjusting the CAS fist...
  9. now that is mad..... good luck with your new job anyway....
  10. is the one from ebay a new one or second hand? I got some new ones form China and they didn't work... Can I assume you've done all the checking and cleaning of connectors, checked the TPS voltage, also checked the injectors and plugs. sorry I'm not close enough to let you try mine...
  11. first thing to check is the gator on the gear stick... if that comes off you will hear a load of noise... but not in all gears...
  12. a mate of mine went on and on about getting one on his Soarer and when he did his single T4 conversion the mandatory screamer pipe went on..... they do attract a lot of attention.. good and bad.... three weeks later he wanted it off.... not to everyone's taste... :) best advice I can give it, either drive one with them on first or be prepared to remove them...
  13. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=300zx+camber&_sacat=See-All-Categories prices aren't too bad, however I don't know how good this stuff is... :) mine is a daily drive and I've got a set of these on the front... seems to be OK.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-R32-GTS-GTR-Z32-300ZX-Front-Upper-Camber-Arm-x2-/170574634523?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27b70a5e1b
  14. I'm sure the kit to adjust the camber is comparatively cheap to that.... It would not only affect your Tyre wear but also your handling..... i suppose if you only lowered it at the shows and then put it back up for the drive it wouldn't matter at all.
  15. How much are you spending on coilovers???? and you won't fork at a little more for the right stance .... your choice.... :)
  16. cheers guys... looks like its hose time.... :)
  17. LOL.. what, only when it rains heavy????
  18. i have used one like the first one ... lol... the second one... "This auction is for OBD USB designed conult cable" never heard of "conult".... if it works it would be great .... a little steep in price but....
  19. have you got any theories??
  20. lol... :tt2::tt2: there is always one show off..... :)
  21. So twice now after very heavy rain I’ve found a little aquatic gift from the heavens in my drivers foot well… The mat had a good cup full of water on it… don’t even know how much has soaked into the carpet… I’ve checked the targa drain and it’s working fine, I can only assume its getting in though the widow rubber but can’t see any tell tale signs… looks like a hose on the roof job over the weekend.. Anyone else lucky enough to have a mobile foot spa?
  22. i would but i don't own a boat... :) (even though that's what my wife calls the 300....but I think that's more to do with poring money into it...)
  23. LOL... that will be a monster.... good luck..
  24. LOL... I've got my fingers crossed.... but I think the met office is against us.... :)
  25. JeffTT has done a number of posts on this topic.... do a search (advanced) with his name and for drain or targa....
