  1. this may help a little... you can compare... (Well at least to answer how the size, profile and with affect the diameter) http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm
  2. let the search button be your friend... :) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?146736-Another-targa-drain-tech&highlight=fuse+box
  3. Hi, have you done all this: http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.335 Oh, and Jeff has a guide somewhere on the forum for adjusting the throttle bodies so they are equal... Mine just started doing it as well... so I'll be doing some checks as soon as the weather permits...
  4. LOL... apologies if I've offended you.... I was just curious as to the Zed specials you mentioned without giving any names... Yeah Jimmer is in Bristol (not that I would call that close :) ), not sure who is in Penzance. I had my car down at Plymouth at Alen Jeffereys and although they where very nice and did their best I really didn't feel that they where experienced with Zed's at all. for information on the wiring there are plenty of diagramming in the Service manual (although this one is for the US car and some things may be on the other side of the car) bottom of the EL section... http://z32.wikispaces.com/Factory+Service+Manual I have a spare set of head lights that I can clean up and fix any adjustment cog issues for you if your ones are no good... i also think I may have a few spare plastic boots for the. anyway best of luck.. :)
  5. Hi, good luck with your search.... do as much research as you can before you buy so you know exactly what you are getting and where the problems are likely to be and if you are unsure about any car... step away.. :) unfortunately once your in, you're hooked and you “can” watch any spare cash you have sailing down the repair river… if you don’t buy carefully that is.
  6. loading a pic from photobucket... (see FAQ for istructions) hover the mouse pointer over the image in the photobucket folder. left mouse click in the box for "Image Code" and then just paste that into the post. It’s a shed load easier than the twinturbo forum where you have to code everything you paste or link in html code … (I’m not very good at that.. lol)
  7. Hi mate, not sure what you mean by that.. as far as I know there is no Zed specialist in the south west. if you know one please advise us. or at least divulge and we can comment... :) by the way do you actually have HIDs in the front lights or was that just your description because of the projector lens. And, yeah, you are correct water into the cabin will cause all kinds of electrical issues and corrosion on connectors. Best of luck.
  8. lol... I did exactly the same thing but deleted it after I realised... ;) so no one will ever know… oops. Do’h..
  9. I remember taking an offer with a type place for only a fiver they would so all tyres and I could get them checked and topped at anytime for the life of the tyre... so the advantages are less change in pressure in the tyre due to no water vapour (expanding and contracting) and less chance of corrosion (as has been said).... however, since I had a slow leak on one rim (for whatever reason) I found myself having to make an effort to go back there to get it topped and as you can imagine they tried to sell me other stuff all the time. in the end I gave up and went back to air, readily available and mostly free. however there is no way I would pay £30 or £40 for it.
  10. isn't that what Noz posted??? lol..
  11. not another birthday... are you having them every year now? all the best
  12. Like Noz says... heaps in there...
  13. I can see a call for IQ test to buy fuel... :D
  14. lol.. I'm quite happy to salute any other lover of performance motoring... nothing worse that a stuck up driver … e.g. expensive domestic and imports, they hardly ever nod or smile let alone wave.
  15. Ouch... lol... all the best...
  16. yeah... in the spare tyre well and under the back seat, if the leak is inside the car and bad.
  17. then get ready for the rust disaster that will be in there.... i'm dreading having a look into mine.. :(
  18. not going to happen... he's only a "registered user" Marlow: post up your emails address and Dan will get back to you...
  19. its a bit crazy.. strange thing is lots of cultures see our way or looking after people not as a good caring thing but as a weak thing... and they are happy to take advantage of it and us. just another reason to change the way the EU insists we let anyone from there in and are also made to have our share of immigrants and asylum seekers.
  20. I couldn't agree more... and with even more PC regulations and bureaucracy form the EU where will it end.. we do need to re-negotiate and or re-design the way the EU works.
  21. I just got an email form the fair fuel campaign: Because of your support and the help from our backers, we’ve had a string of great successes. Over the last 24 months, we’ve led the fight to see over 9p per litre of Fuel Duty hike’s scrapped. However, despite those successes, we still pay amongst the highest Petrol/Diesel Taxes in Europe and petrol and diesel are still frighteningly expensive. When we checked on Monday, Unleaded was averaging 132.88 and Diesel was averaging 140.50. And now there are stories in the newspapers today suggesting that prices might rocket by 4p per litre in the next couple of weeks. These high prices are still hurting families and businesses AND, just as importantly, we know that they are holding back the UK economy. Our fight goes on! So anyone who hasn’t signed please do so…. http://www.fairfueluk.com/index.html
