  1. unfortunately this isn't true... it's an old urban legend that has been used about a lot of Australian leaders... but they do have more rigid immigration regulations...
  2. hi Marlow... well to start (and no disrespect to Alan) but they aren't Zed specialist and only have very little Zed knowledge, this is more dangerous that none at all. You can’t play around with these cars if you want them to run right. Fro diagnostic information, I think Dannzx has diags and he’s near you…. He can most like also offer idea on who can work on the car locally. also see here... (let the search feature be your freind) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?99968-Datascan-or-Consult-owners-list&highlight=conzult+list
  3. LOL.. I was recently looking at some of them...
  4. i see your mistake... you said just how rough do you want it... ;)
  5. LOL.... it's really not difficult... the small hose is 3 or 4 mm and the lager one is 6mm and you can also use the 8mm one from the power assistance unit vac hose.... and yes i have used the 3, 6 & 8 mm kit and used all three sizes... if you're still not sure.. pull some vac lines of and measure the inside size.... or use the "search" option... :)
  6. is this better? http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=81&category_id=14&keyword=silicone&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7 they seem to think its 4mm and 6 mm (and so missing the 8 mm)
  7. like this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Z32-300ZX-Silicone-Hose-Engine-Bay-Dressup-Kit-Orange-/130564730304?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e6643adc0
  8. 3 sizes.... 3, 5 & 8 mm (from memory) I'm sure they do a kit....
  9. most places do kits... check out ebay... or SFS
  10. lol...yes agreed... I was trying to approximate the size without going into detail... but as you say yes you can fit a lot of "bits" in ... it's the shape that makes it difficult. However since the question was about golf bags I was only using it as an example to suit... :) I have had a 32" widescreen old style colour TV in the boot with the seats down and boot closed.
  11. lol.. yeah... it is a really crappy old zed one....
  12. yeah, I'll be keeping an eye on that thread to see what he dose to it... Yeah, I bet it people get a surprise when he puts his foot down... lol... Got to agree about the wheels... needs something else and out more (even though those stock ones are in mint condition).. :)
  13. Hi, plenty of room in the back with the seats folded down for 2 sets of clubs (and fold up pull trolleys). It might be a bit more difficult if you also had two sets of electric trolleys... but one electric trolley and one set of clubs no probs.. trolley would have to go in first. the standard boot with cover over is only big enough for a couple of medium luggage bags.
  14. something different... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=322798
  15. yeah... hope you get well soon...
  16. I can see a little on the hills around Torquay but there is nothing at all around the town and suburbs..
  17. Hey, I’ve boomeranged my way though cars ending back up at the Zeds again and again.. When I was 20 I had a 240Z (all 2 seaters) and many a times had extra people in it… not a good look. Had a few times after being out with a mate and picked up a couple of girls, made it interesting. After a few other cars and then another 240Z finally went for a 260Z 2+2… really had a difference to being able to take more than one other person places. The comments are correct in that the 2+2 is hardly a four seater, more like an occasional / emergency extra two seats (the “estate” version (lol) is only about 9.5 inches longer than the 2 seater). However there are occasions where you might be very glad of them… :) good luck with your search whatever flavour you go for...
  18. I wanted one when I was looking but couldn't find one.... aside from that if you're on minimum wage then maybe oner of these isn't the best car to go for... 15 to 20 year old cars tend to need a lot of work and the more complex the more to go wrong.. I'd stay clear of the TT and be prepared to do a lot of work yourself.... at least you might be able to get parts cheaper on the forum... however SWB parts are harder to find and usually go for more money. Not trying to be pessimistic but I paid nearly £6k for my car and spend over £4k last year on an engine rebuild... over the last three years I've spent thousands as well... best of luck...
  19. lol.. go on then make him an offer... :)
  20. Hi, ... but...LOL... mate... £2500 for a shorty.... hens teeth, rocking horse poo... blah.. blah... (although nothing is impossible, just improbable)... I'd say for that money you'd be better off looking in the forum for sale section and picking up a good LWB... or be prepared to have a long wait. and you're only going to get it for that price now because people a desperate to sell and the market is a bit dead...
  21. I couldn’t agree more, it’s truly a sorry state of affairs when a few inched of snow brings a nation to its knees. Admittedly the expense of having costly equipment sitting around for most of year doing nothing just in case there is snow might make a few people a little annoyed. I did hear a news/weather reader advise people to invest in snow tyres (defiantly good advise) but also if money is tight can people afford it, again for how often it happens is it work it? Infrequency also explains most peoples total inadequate understanding of how to drive in the conditions, contributing to the chaos. And just to be clear I also certainly don’t hate snow…. But I can say I do hate the mess that comes from a relatively light dusting and just how inconvenient it is getting to and from work during that time. Only recently (when my car was having major surgery) I contemplated scrapping it and getting a 4x4 just for the 3 months when snow is possible where I live and work.
