What a load of crock.......
I think the guy from the AA was talking about getting rid of old cars that that aren't as efficient and or produce lots of pollution... Oooops... not good for the Zed !! maybe better to have a lower speed limit.. LOL.. :(

Oil pressure - temp gauge
I think the US cars have them on the right side and it may very well be the case that some JDM also do... .. mine is JDM and is on the Passengers (left/near) side along with the oil filter (away from the steering). a little peep under the car will confirm... not a biggie really is it??!!

Oil pressure - temp gauge
that sounds a little low... but it isn't a conclusive sing that you have oil pressure problems.. it's only a sign that the gauge is showing you a low pressure. this could be because the gauge isn't working correctly. it could be because there is a circuit/wire issue. it could be the sender unit or connector has issues. do the cheapest, easiest checks first.. check and clean the connectors to the sender unit (passengers side of the engine beside the sump). if that doesn't help you can take the clocks out of the dash and check for corrosion and clean the connectors. next would be to replace the sender unit (I had to replace mine, I think it's quite common) and obviously make sure you're not using too thin an oil (particularly for a stock original engine).

Uk series 2 clocks into a jdm series 3
as far as I know there are only two configurations for the plug setup.. Series one then Series 2 & onward.. if you look in the service manual it shows the two, they are incompatible unless you rewire. so if your plugs and sockets have the same orientation and fit then go for it. with any luck someone more experienced with these matters will pipe up.. :)

Seals which ones do i need?
Leeroy, do what Groover and Vijay have said and look in the link the "window guide rail adjustment" allows for two way adjustment, one form side to side and the other moves the window in or out. if you do a search on Jefftt posts he also has a post on how to seal the top of the rubber near that edge and the drain plug, this is also a main point of water getting in to the top of the window seal. there are also rubber cleaning products that make it more supple and help to stop water leaks by allowing the window to seal to the glass better.. look on ebay or do a search on here.

Passenger Headlight removal!! Arrrrggghh
since he's pulling the units apart he'll be able to support the back of the rod making the process less likely to break and plastic casing. http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/H-L_Disassembly.pdf some of the pics near the end of the guide with a ratchet extension to support the rod (are what I send to the guy to amend it)...

Passenger Headlight removal!! Arrrrggghh
OK, I'll make a point of checking them out first thing... the postage might be a bit high... what do you want me to do? I guess I could pull them apart and just send you the bits (if the're OK), that would save on postage. (I was going to pull them apart anyway to clean them up so I'm not too bothered about selling bits out of them). I'll let you know their state. or i can price them up via courier ... might be a bit cheaper than parcel-farce .. :D

looks like (from doing a search) it's the: Nissan Primera http://www.carcooling.co.uk/products/Heater_Matrix_Nissan_Primera_P10_All_cc_1990_96_06_90_10_96_Primera_I_Saloon_Hatchback_Man_Auto_152_185_32mm_16DN302-121512-225.html or Mitsubishi Lancer Cc- Ce 93'- 04' but that is more expensive...

problem with car help !!! :-\
Hi, The by-pass is a DIY job and easy (well relatively compered to some of the jobs for the Zed). we are talking about 16 - 24 year old cars so owning one is not for the faint hearted .. if you are lucky it's a labour of love and if you're very lucky you only use it for fun. so the heater matrix can be replaced without taking the dash out but not an easy job (really need the clutch pedal & seat out) , if you take the dash out its better but that makes it a much bigger job. with dash in.. http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.341 and http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/Beginners_Heater_Core_Removal.pdf with dash out.. dash removal: http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.311 info: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Heater+Core the matrix for the Zed is expensive but you can use one form another Nissan.. I cant remember what one but a search should find it for you. and I think they sell them ere: http://www.carcooling.co.uk/catalog/Nissan_Heater_Matrix-225-1.html or maybe ebay.. good luck..

well that would be a good thing then as you're is a younger model.. and that kind of agrees with that. :) the reason I was glad I found it is because it showed me that the car I thought was a 93 was actually a 91 (the seat belt tags had been gut and all the trims had been replaced with later ones). So I never trust importers.
