  1. not sure what type of budget you'r on but... when I was doing our extension I had a look at Ikea, very good selection of quality product, i bought all timber doors and tops.... it ended up cheaper than the standard laminate stuff from B&Q (mind you I did get stuff at Christmas with their sales) ... Oh and I installed (most of) it myself... so if you're handy with the tools it's worth thinking about. :)
  2. I think it's called a chav switch... fogs on at same time as low beam... :D the DVLA has information about this, it's a little fuzzy on exactly what you can ans can't do as far as extra lighting... (i don't know about the switching) but if you have lights that can be seen as a hindrance or interfere with other road users ability to see the road clearly the police can book you for it. Go and have a look on the DVLA site and make up your own mind.
  3. yeah, that is good thinking.... that will be nice!!!! so double doors or large windows from the new kitchen into the conservatory? like this or this
  4. maybe time for some triple glazing.. :)
  5. what language is that used on the rounded extension part?
  6. me too, I can't see your post either.. :p ... been fine for me other than the other day... :) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?173912-We-are-Back-!!&p=1784814#post1784814
  7. how much mechanical skill do you have? have a look at this guide and see if you can follow some of it.. http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=922678
  8. OK, on closer inspection (and unfortunately removal of the pin... Do'h) I worked out that it's of no help in removing the lock from the panel. however in doing so it made it easier to see how to do it... there is a little hole hear the base and if you put a thin screwdriver in there you can press on the lock tumbler that holds the barrel in place. once pressed in the barrel can be pulled / pushed / pried out (i assume that the key should also do this but can't confirm yet.
  9. I looked at that and the pin has been crimped so that it doesn't fall out... I'll have to squeeze it and just hope it's reusable. cheers..
  10. LOL... not the pet name for mine... and I'm sure it's more than that... however what made you think that???? MMmmmmm :p or should I call you Mr headlight panel??? :)
  11. that does sound like injectors to me (from what I've heard on other posts).. might be time to so a full check on them (resistance) and balance test... FSM will give you the correct readings.
  12. Me, Me, Me..... 825 grams, or 1 lb, 13 ounces ... totally naked.. no badge or rubber
  13. Ah, i see this is a quiz ??!! :p
  14. half agree with you... those two aren't the only things that can cause intermittent issues.. :) particularly as warming up.. could also be the IAA system... I've also and intermittent issues that were due to vac/boost loss but only some times...
  15. have you checked the ecu temp sender unit... if it isn't sending the right signal to the ecu you will get over-fueling. read though the links you have been shown and go though each bit one at a time, checking and testing. also check the MAF for a good filter and no water and make sure the connector is not corrodes and is making good contact. you will then have to go on form there checking everything thoroughly... make sure all the connectors have their metal clips on them .
  16. already got to that stage.... I'm stuck as how to get either the barrel out or the lock section off the rest of the assembly...
  17. why don't you ask Mondo, He's the forum trim guy and I can see why he could,'t get you what ever you wanted or even do the job for you... great job and price. :)
  18. could be thrust race (bearing) or clutch/pressure plate rubbing something?! worth having a look, see if you can look in where the rubber boot is.
  19. See if you can pick me one up as well.. I'll put my Z on pistonheads immediately... :)
  20. lol.. welcome back... worst addiction I've ever had.. :)
  21. MMmmmmm, if that's the case, then, just keep bleeding, bleeding, bleeding.... :)
  22. I thought that light came on when any of the fluid levels where low... what does it say in the owners handbook?
  23. this is also interesting... not totally relevant (since you want to keep it) but maybe helpful, http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-1722555/How-challenge-car-valuation-write-off.html
