the red looks cool! but you're right black or silver cars only I think.... I can just about afford the full kit from the Zcentre so the alcantera option is defo out!!

I sometimes use the 1,2 then drive method, and occaisionally slip into 2 for a bit of engine brakeing if the speed is right (do this when going too fast and if either your gearbox will go bang or the back of the car will overtake the front!!) its prob not too good for the box though. A kiwi guy I used to work with loved his american muscle cars and had a 5.7litre something-or-other and swore by the 1,2,drive method and did it religiously. And of course if you want arse out antics keep it in 1st or second and mash the gas!! :)

What colour Leather do you think I should go for? All Black is out for definate but Im not a fan of cream, or tan or any of the lighter colours... bugger... As the car is going to be bayside, what do you think of blue sides to the seats, black in the middle and black door cards )and other bits of trim? Kinda like the Audi S3's ?? (at least thats what I think they used to look like, not seen one for a while..)

I thought it was taking the p1ss a bit, I think its a case of they have a million jobs on and have just been doing bits and pieces to mine which has dragged it out. Im too much of a big girl to have a go at them though, mainly because the car is halfway across the bloody country and I cant just nip in to the bodyshop shout a bit and stamp my feet. (as I have a go on the phone they could be taking a hammer to my car! :shock: ) All the bits and pieces were supplied by the Zed Centre and delivered straight to the bodyshop. Price for the respray was £1350. (which I thought was a bargain, was quoted silly money around where I live) Dont really want to mention the body shop as I dont want to offend anybody, get banned, or whatever... Just gagging to get on with the project and get some of this mountain of parts in my house on to the car!! (and relieve chunk of the wheels that are cluttering up his house/garage/garden) grumpy grumpy grumpy, I want my Zed back.... :mad:

The kelvin rating just changes the colour of the light right? not the brightness. so stuff appears a bit sharper with some colours.

For those of you that have had complete resprays done how long did it take? Just spoke to the bodyshop and they say it will take another two weeks! (already had it for four on Friday) Joblist was, complete respray in new colour (all doorshuts and sills, not the engine bay), fit clear side indicators, new external trims (over the doors and under the windscreen) new fron bumper ('99 spec) new rear spoiler (oem replica) fix a couple of minor dents and dings, repair the sills where the car had been jacked up wrong and thats it! six weeks seems a bit over the top to me and I'm getting a little impatient.. :mad:

done a bit more looking... still confused, but I think its the 9004 (low beam) bulb I need to replace???

Hullo again, Haven't got my car at the moment so I cant check, does anyboy know dimensions of the stock or greddy intercoolers (think they are the same) I need to work out the length of spray bar I need to order my IC spray stuff.. Cheers Dave

Hullo, Following on from my recent spending spree I'm now after a HID conversion kit, I saw a group buy on here a while ago but couldnt find the seller on ebay :( I'm a bit lost with all the bulb codes etc on some of the sites (im assuming its just the headlight bulbs that are replaced, not mainbeam?), has anybody recently bought and fitted one? where'd ya get it from and most importantly which kit!!! I think it's all a bit of a grey area really, some live in caravans, some on crappy estates, some in really nice areas and have been given a free house by the council (grrrrrrrrrrrr) but they all need shooting! :rofl:
