Goddamit, had my weekly chat with the bloke from the bodyshop, "ANOTHER TWO WEEKS!!!" for fvcks sake whats wrong with them, was told 2-3 weeks, its now been two bloody months!!!! I've refrained from going apeshit at the bodyshop yet, not sure if this will achieve anything, any suggestions on a course of action?? Cheers

I guess it would work OK on an NA, dont thinkg a TT would be too happy with it... my buddy had his Jeep converted, saved him a fortune. you will actually get slightly worse MPG on LPG but as its so cheap you will be paying the same for fuel as if you were getting 40mpg on unleaded.. Am I right in saying LPG is a lower octane than even the crappiest unleaded thats why you get the poorer performance?

Depends on the size of the wheels!!! 17" alloys come in all different shapes and sizes.. well actually they are pretty much all the same shape (circular) but the widths will differ! :) The profile on a 17" should be 45 ZR 17 though....

Just been thinking, when I insured my car I had to tell them I had no alarm cos I'm missing the fitting certificate for my cat1 that is fitted. cost about £80 more for the insurance.. (hyperformance) Friend who just got a boxster didnt bother renewing the tracker subscription cos the insurance company (adrian flux) said it made bugger all difference to the cost of the policy!!!! Cos with a tracker it's pretty much impossible to get away with the car! I'm more than a bit surprised that with all the hype around approved alarms and gizmo's like trackers why it doesnt really make much of a dent in policy prices!!! Anybody else have similar or opposite experiences???

My stainless slam pannel/headlight covers turned up today! they are the mutts! Quality stuff and shiny as a very shiny thing! even the postie commented that it was a "meaty" parcel! Can't wait to get my car back so I can fit them!!! Cheers Smithy!

There has been a bit of a running debate about de-catting on here of late, if you search back a bit you will see a survey getting info on peoples experiences with decatting. The theory is that by removing all the back pressure the standard seals on the turbos may fail causing a fairly labour intensive repair job. there were plenty of people on the survey that had removed thier cats and had no problems at all, and one or two that started smoking pretty soon after the de-cat... IMHO im not going to bother "just in case" it causes a problem, I think I can live without the couple of extra horses removing the cats is supposed to provide....

Wow that was fast, ordered on the 28th of August arrived this morning!! Has been shipped direct from Hong Kong!?!??! Even though the company is in the US. Doesnt look like I will be paying VAT on it too! :) THey shipped it with no invoice (Which is odd as I thought this was a requirement??!?!?!) and marked it as a gift valued at $25 !!!
