  1. Fooking genius! top night out! pmsl
  2. No idea, there are some ancient posts on this board about them... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/archive/index.php/t-7031.html Been looking at the old site, http://www.ess-racing.com the video is superb!! I want wan BADLY!! do we have an electronics engineer on the board who could reverse engineer one???
  3. if only they still made that Shift at Will system.... sob... Any electronic geniuses on here want to have a go at building one???
  4. who was it on here who's catchphrase was "no chance mate, no chance!" always cracks me up when I see that video as he tears off down the strip looking over his shoulder! As I'm on a bit of a futurama watching frenzy at the moment "bite my shiny metal ass" is good. my favorite so far would have to be steve-o's "can you guess what it is yet? I may have to get some plates made up with that on it!!
  5. I was going to buy that front end, but it's REALLY expensive!! so I settled for the straight forward '99 spec. It does look the nuts though! lovely paint job on that car too!
  6. Hello fella, I'd defo say its worth seven grand, but as some of the other guys on here have recently experienced zeds are going cheap at the moment, If I were you I'd start at seven but be prepared to be knocked down as low as 5.5k (maybe even lower) :(
  7. oooooh yeah, that turning circle is bloody dreadful!!!! Strange I never saw that mentioned anywhere before and I only found out with my first supermarket trip!!
  8. Always use a water based lubricant! (unless you want a gaggle of little 300zx'ers running around)
  9. Banana???????????????? christ that would make me hurl....
  10. I agree!! If it wasnt for the wealth of info here and the top links on 300zx.org.uk I prob would never have got a Zed, and I certainly wouldnt be comfortable modding it!!
  11. NTL can be a bit poo for support I have found, lots of my customers use them and a simple enquiry or change takes a looooooong time to get done (if at all) I always recommend Zen (ww.zenadsl.co.uk) thier support is the mutts and they are not too pricey....
  12. http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/300zx2/R_center/ only $375 ???!?!?!?!?!?!!? (or maybe you only need to $275 bit to illuminate your existing panel??)
  13. Cool thanks chaps, I'll just slap it on and go for a blast to clear all the crud out then!! cheers!
  14. Sounds good to me!! Stupid Question the price on your site is for a pair right??
  15. Hullo chaps, been busy spending my hard earned today, just need a bit of advice on the next few bits to buy... I'm accumulating a massive stack of bits to slap on the car at the moment for when I get it back, so far I've got (or ordered) Braided brake hoses Mongoose Cat Back exhaust Greddy ECU Greddy Profec Boost Controller I'm planning on using 12psi for everyday and 15+psi for when I really want to go fast! I'm now toying with the idea of the greddy ICs, to try to keep things cool(er) any views on whether this will be enough or should I get a waterspray for the ICs too? On another point, any idea if anybody has used waterspray for the radiator and oil coolers?? seems like a good idea to me but as I've never heard of anybody doing it before I'm guessing there must be a good reason! Any ideas?? Thanks
  16. Just got a lovely 2nd hand stainless exhaust courtesy of Jonnyz32, just giving it a bit of a polish and shine! :D Stupid question being there is plenty of soot inside so should I clean it out before fitting it to the car? if so how? Pressure washer? garden hose? pipe cleaners? Also thought there may be some oil or other gunk in there from the previous car.... Cheers
  17. POint taken, I guess it depends on how busy the road is (or was in that case) Driving back up the m3 the other weekend very busy after the weekend rush to the beach, traffic flowing at 60-70 some fella in a big fat audi (a8?) sees fit to do about 110 weaving in and out of the traffic! :nono: insane...
  18. Amazes me how many I see around, ugly as sin and proper expensive. If you gotta get a hoofing great thing like that whats wrong with a good old range rover? far more bling that that crock!
  19. Insurance companies do my nut, charging twice as much for an import for a start, what a joke, No way am I declaring points that are off my license. My broker wanted to know about accidents that DIDNT result in a claim! not a chance Im telling them about a shunt where I gave the guy a couple of hundred notes to get his car fixed and avoid a claim. One thing I discovered was that the offence for not telling the fuzz who was driving the car may be a fixed 3 points and a small(ish) fine but its a fooking killer on the insurance premium. Thought I'd avoid the six points or possible ban by admiting it was me doing 80 in a 40 but in hindsight the sp(whatever) would prob have been easier on the insurance than the MS90... arse... rant over... (on a roll with the ranting tonight!)
  20. Good lord, I cant believe they got locked up!!! Whilst muggers and burglars get community service!! Sure they could have killed somebody but they didnt... jeez.... They talk of making an example but who the fook gives a rats about a case like this probably hardly made the local rag (and a little bit on the BBC news website) rant over....

can they do a picture of the zed up on stands with the bonnet open and the engine out??? would be more realistic ?? :)
  22. Oh didnt realise you did the Blitz ones too!! Just found them on your site, they seem quite a bit more expensive than the Profec for pretty much the same set of features... I'll give you a call some time tomorrow so hopefully you can put explain the differences! Cheers
  23. Feeling the need to spend some more money!!! Which is best? BLITZ DUAL SBC SPEC R, or the Profec B SPEC II ?? Both about the same price from what I have seen, There are a batch of the Blitz controllers on Ebay for £220 plus vat and delivery (coming from somewhere is Asia so I'm expecting some import duty too...) and the profec is £275 delivered from GetGreddy.... They both seem to have a similar feature set, peak/max boost, warning on overboost etc... What have your experiences been with these? Cheers Dave
  24. Comedy genius!!! I'll be trying that one! Some silly b1tch keeps leaving bin bags round the side of my house which the cats pull open spilling nappies and other junk all over the place, will have to shovel some up and bung em in a box!!!
  25. PMSL that you assumed its a girl, kinda what I was thinking too! Actually a bloke though!! I'll make a point of a race on a straight bit of road then! BTW just confirmed its the 2.7, he wanted the S but didnt want a flappy padle gearbox, plus 20k is more than enough to spend on a hair-dressing wagon.
