Hi Guys

I could really do with some help, I have a 1991 uk Z, its a manual, TT, and I need to sell it because I have now just got another.

The car is very good condition, the interior is as near to new as you could get on a car half this age, the gear knob is the alloy Z one from Luke and the radio facia is coded, bar a few creases in the leather it new, it has had £9000 spent on it in the last 18 months or so and eight of those months have been spent in garage having the work done.

It has new (fully recon) engine and turbos fitted and just over 2000 miles covered on the new engine.

It has had the following fitted recently- ACT clutch (60% upgrade), springs 30mm lower , dampers, Mongoose exhaust, Esprit 300 type spoiler, clear side repeaters, HKS tubo timer, rear trackrod ends, front ball joints, all poly bushes on rear with front supplied but not fitted, Windscreen and all external trims, 18" millie Miglia five spoke alloys, the water pump is 18 months old, battery about the same, the injector connectors were changed after engine install and it comes with a Blitz dual boost controller not yet fitted as I was running it in before having it chipped, the car comes with all history the majority Nissan and nearly all MOTs from new.

No pictures at present as I have no camera and it is in the garage having a service following the run in.

I know its hard to value a car without seeing it, but the only thing this car needs is chipping, all the expensive work has been done it will last for years needing nothing.

I thought £7000 what do you think am I a mile out?

The Z I just bought has had a new engine fitted but with all the works fitted during build so I couldn't let it pass, its just that the other half dont know Ive spent her money on it

I'd defo say its worth seven grand, but as some of the other guys on here have recently experienced zeds are going cheap at the moment, If I were you I'd start at seven but be prepared to be knocked down as low as 5.5k (maybe even lower) :(

Although its worth £7k cant see you getting it mate :(

lol, I would stick it out and not go lower than 6.5k mate.

 

Someone on here recently sold a pretty stock import (other than ice and wheels / zorst etc) and it was mint, got around 6.5k for it.

 

A friend of mine just bought one for around 6.5k also.

 

There are a lot of shite heaps out there atm, most of the ones under 4k on auto trader are fooked. So I would bide your time and not give it away.

I'm sat here like a dog hearing walkies, my ears are pricking up at the sound of six and a half grand, you've just help me approach the weekend with a thirst.

I suppose your all right in a way, I could sell it for five grand if I rush, I think I,ll have a go for the last comments and take my time.

I know you dont expect anywhere near all your money back when you spend on a car but fook me!!
