Rear light comparison: Fiat/"Lambo"/LED
oh poo, I was really trying not to spend any more money on bits this week, now I'm going to have to buy some '99 spec rears or maybe the lambo lights.... ya *******s!! :)

Request for a little help from an owner.
You could always flog your car and buy one of the stunning zeds for sale on here! 5.5k seems like a lot for a '90 it would want to be amazingly low mileage, and stunning condition for that money!

Where is your car and why?
No option for being in the garage being made even better! Mods/body shop!!!

How many kids do you have?
Whoa whoa whoa, sweet child of mine!! you wouldnt catch me going back to the puking, pooing, belching, crying stage! no-sir-eeeeeee , my rug rat is coming up to five now and he's cool! He's like my little flat mate, the missus moved out about a year ago and its just me and him now, very cool and lots of fun. (although he cant drink for sh1t, complete lightweight) You can train them to do all kinds of cool tricks when they are bit older pete, just wait you'll love it, fetch that spanner, polish that bonnet, wash those dishes (not the expensive stuff though!) and they think its all a game! :)

Lovely cars, but the poor poor things getting abused like that  Drifting round a track is one thing, doing a donut and burnouts???? they must get VERY hot!!! and the presenter bloke???? since when is a burnout the coolest thing you will ever do?? I really hope the saxo boys dont decide to buy 300zx's on the strength of this DVD.... all IMHO of course!! :)

Warning Ebay White Glow Dials
You can indeed convert it by fiddling with the pots on the back of the speedo, personally i decided i couldnt be bothered and consigned the dials I bought to the bin... bugger.. :)

Sat Broad Band
Guess I'll have to try to have a play with another model, the one I have does the job but the screen update is really slow (not like some of the fancier ones I've seen before) as we use a variety of different satellite and most of the installs are in the middle of nowhere I dont even have the good old sky dishes to go by as a starting point for alligning these bloody great 1m dishes!!! :) i've found its very easy to miss the damn things entirely cos the screen updates so slowly! Cheers Dave

Sat Broad Band
Hi Gio, do you use a spectrum analyser for finding your satellite? I need a new one as mine is rubbish, which model do you use?
-
Sat Broad Band
Ooooh the competition! One of the things my company supply is sat broadband, although its very much a corporate thing and a bit pricey for most home users, list prices are £2500 for the antenna, transmitter (BUC) and reciever (LNB) and the indoor unit which is essentially a little NAT router. Link speeds go from 512kb down 128kb up for about a grand a year all the way up to 2mb down 1mb up for about 4.5k a year! pricey yup! slow kind of, whatever sat solution you get its gonna have a 700+ ms latency (delay) cos thats how long it takes for your microwaves to get up to the satellite and back down to the base station (its a very very long way!) :) I seem to be spending a lot of time in eastern europe installing the things at the moment!

Z350!!! What a load a Rubbish
I quite like the look of the 350 actually! (interior is b0ll0cks though) may be my next car when I get bored of the 300, sounds like they need some serious performance work doing though... (was it on here I read they were bringing out a "special edition" with extra horses?)

Perfect lights
- Bomz lightweight pulley set
My understanding is that by lightening the OEM pulley you free up more horses for the back wheels! The manufactuers quote figures in the region of 2-3hp per lb of weight saved (You should be saving nealy 10lb with one of those) but a 20-30hp increase at the wheels is prob a bit optimistic. There are some dyno charts somewhere on the internet showing a 10-15hp increase at the wheels on a TT with an induction kit and aftermarket exhaust. Wouldnt think it would be such a big increase on a NA though.- Are you a Northern *******?
Southern Fairy all the way!! thank fook for that! :)- SS Exhaust
Wasn't on the car at the time ;) was tucked away in the corner of my yard!- Balls, somebody pinched my mongoose
Will be keeping a sharp eye on the local freeads etc, fook knows what else they will do with it!?!?!?!?!? they may be trying hard to bolt it to thier saxo as I type!!!! :)- SS Exhaust
Some toe rag got a free one last night when they stole mine!- Freshly Polished Black Zed, Fareham
Looked like it has a single exit exhaust as it bombed past me!! :)- Balls, somebody pinched my mongoose
Bugger, Was so wasted after a heavy weekend I didnt hear the little buggers making off with my mongoose exhaust last night!!! nuts... (it wasnt on the car by the way! :) ) If anybody spots a system for sale in the Basingstoke area let me know, will pop round with a baseball bat!!! grrrrrrr. - Bomz lightweight pulley set
